Empowering Minds :My journey at St. Xavier's College

The main and first attractive element is the ambiance of the College.The scenery from the front gate till to the end of the college it's fully covered with nature.The entire compound is filled with tress clean walls ,roads, buildings and statues.
There are mainly three blocks for overall departments with a occupaccy of 2000 students. And also had separate priavte departments for students.Clean canteen, toilets , 2massive grounds for sports and also had so many sports courts in the college.
There are 3 auditoriums in the college the main one is massive and the cultural programs all conducted in there.The college is situated at a beach side so overall these are the main highlights of the college

Dislikes

The management is not at all good enough for the students perspective.They don't really encourage the needs or wishes from the students side. Sports students didn't have any specific room or block for their needs like freshups
The management dont utilities the cultural programs or management programs that were conducted.
Some of the teachers don't allow boys and girls sit eachother, walk together or spent sometime eachother.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Relevance should be 8/10.The course covers essential topics in English literature, language,and media studies, preparing students for various careers in journalism and publishing, content writing and editing,teaching and research, digital media and communications, public relations and advertising,etc. Comprehensive: 7.5 This course curriculum covers English literature, language and linguistics, communication and journalism and critical thinking and research skill

My college students are perfect in obedient
My college students are study well and score high marks in their exams
My college provide good facilities in some lab and auditorium

Dislikes

My college is very very strict in dress for girls only which means they wont allow to wear a legin for any dress
There is no seating arrangement in my college we will stand in hot sun for some programs or we will seat in floor

Course Curriculum Overview:

The studies and course are best. The syllabus also the current version. But the teaching skill is not good. Students self learn the syllabus. Practical also good and current version language only used.

Cherish memories

Likes

Nature friendly campus and atmosphere.
Large college library and lots of book collection.
Friendly faculties and lots of fest are arranged for students entertainment.

Dislikes

The department wise programmes are sometimes become fight between students.
There is no uniform in the campus. I am littile much disappointed in that point.
Due to the lots of fest programmes and auspicious vibe of the college we can't study properly.

Placement Experience:

By completing the last semester students are eligible for campus placement. There is a very large number of companies recruited from the campus including IT companies like Infosys, Technocrat, etc. The average package is more than 15k.

Campous life - Campus life is a vibrant and diverse experience,offering a myriad of oppurtunities for personal growth and development. Students engage in academic pursuits,social activities,clubs,and organizations,forming lifelong friendships.
Faculty- The collge typically consists of various faculties or academic departments,each speciliazing in specific fields od study. These faculties employ professors and experts who provide eduction, research oppurtunities and guidance to students.
Infrastructure- Buildings, Classrooms,Laboratories,Administrative offices, Sports facilities, Dormitories ,Cafeterias, Parking lots are there.

Dislikes

Hostel life- According to mr it was very bad experience.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Sc Botany and Biotechnology is a course with better job opportunities. And this course is career related. The number of students who had taken this course in the past years is nearly 70%. And the Faculties are Ph.D. scholars. The exam is based on the syllabus and the course consists of 6 semesters. The syllabus of the course was rather tough, and there is only a 30% chance to fail the examination.

My college journey

Likes

My class room i like my class room it is very comfortable to study
My friends. Friends are the important gifts from my college
Teachers, teachers are more friendly so i can easily communicate with them

Dislikes

The canteen. I don't like the behavior of the canteen owner otherwise its nice
Events .events and functions are sometimes very boring
I hate Unexpected CE exams that makes me very sad

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I would like to work in any media. There 100 more than students are studying this course in our college. The teachers are well trained and they are giving their best to teach us. The exams usually arrive in more than 3 or four months it is not much difficult to pass the exams but sometimes it's difficult.

I am very interested to study economics. I want to study economics deeply and want to go higher studied to economics at other universities. Our faculty is well-qualified and experienced teachers. there are 35 lecturers for 6 subjects. All students are faced the hardships to attend the term exams and getting an expectable mark to score.

Remarks:

The college is well known for inducing skills to students holistically. The facilities work very hard not just to complete the course but to make students fully aware about the subject matter. There is no political influence found in this college.
