MGU CAT 2026 Registration Deadline Extended for PG/BBA LLB Admission; Apply by April 16 @cat.mgu.ac.in

Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU), Kottayam, has announced an extension for the MGU CAT 2026 registration. Aspiring candidates for various Postgraduate (PG) and BBA LLB (Hons) programs can now submit their applications until April 16, 2026. The university has also scheduled the entrance examinations to take place from May 23 to May 26, 2026.

The MGU entrance test is a mandatory requirement for admission to various university departments and schools. Most programs feature a 90-minute exam consisting of 60 multiple-choice questions with no negative marking. However, some professional courses may include descriptive questions or additional selection stages like interviews and group discussions.

For PG, candidates need a relevant Bachelor's degree; for BBA LLB (Hons), a 10+2 qualification with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) is required. Admission is based on CAT-MGU rank, though 20% of seats are reserved for CUET-PG score holders under the All India Quota. The fee is ₹1,250 for General candidates and ₹625 for SC/ST candidates of Kerala.

Interested candidates must register online at cat.mgu.ac.in. The process involves creating an account, uploading a passport-size photograph, entering academic details, and paying the registration fee via online banking or cards.
