NRS B.Sc (Nursing) : Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

The B.Sc. Nursing program at the college is a 4-year course divided into 8 semesters, with each semester lasting 6 months. Students participate in various learning activities such as assignments, presentations, and clinical demonstrations facilitated by a supportive and competent faculty. The program includes three exams annually, with each semester comprising a 75-mark university exam and a 25-mark internal exam per subject. The 8th semester features an internship with a stipend of 5,500 INR per month, conducted at the mother institution hospital and other locations like NRSMCH and Diamond Harbour Nursing College.

The internship schedule is from 8 AM to 1 PM, six days a week. The college offers an affordable fee structure with an annual tuition fee of Rs. 349 and hostel fees at Rs. 12 per month. Additional cleaning charges are Rs. 50 per month for hostel residents and Rs. 20 for others, with annual fees, including registration and development costs, totaling approximately Rs. 520. Costs for yearly picnics and sports activities are covered by the college.

Hostel and electricity are provided at no cost. Scholarships are available for students from families with an annual income below Rs. 2 lakh, such as the Swami Vivekanand Merit-cum-Means Scholarship and various government scholarships. The fee structure remains consistent each year, and there are no caste-based fee divisions.
