Likes
- There are many things to be liked such as the lift facility in the college
- There is badminton court and gym and other sports also
- Functions such as freshers farewell stimulas etc happen regularly
Dislikes
- There are no dislikes about the college as such excellent college
- The infrastructure is a bit old but not bad it is very good

The curriculum is perfect and i have no complaints about it
It is relevant
The curriculum prepares us for real world applications or further academic pursuits
Exams are held regularly
Exsms are conducted in roper ad fair manner

- Best college in HP. Highest ranked in Himachal
- Patient load is more so learning opportunities are many
- Faculties are experienced and professional
Dislikes
- Campus is not that big like other colleges.
- Campus is old and lecturer theatre are less
- Cafeteria is not good has donot have basic necessities
Course Curriculum Overview:
Of course it is a tough course are we have to finally deal with live people
We have 4 exams per year 2 terms then send ups and finals (university exams)
Exams are difficult are with no holidays in between

Likes
- I liked that my college was on the oldest medical college of north india as well as of Himachal Pradesh.
- It has more than enough qualified facilities in every department.
- This college provides you with a lot of clinical exposure which will help you a lot if the NEXT exam became the selection criteria for PG seats
Dislikes
- The college campus is not closed it has an open campus. Which means the different buildings of the institution are not at one place these are scattered all over the town.
- Through we have a lot of infrastructure we don't have that much space. And the building is seemingly old.
- In the winters, it gets a lot of difficult to attend classes as we have to walk a lot from hostel to college. And walking in snow is a little difficult as it is kind of slippery.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course if MBBS is very large as it has 19 subjects. The course is 5.5 yrs long in which the final year is internship. Due to its large syllabus the tests and exams occurs frequently. In this course the first year is pre clinical second and third year is para clinical and the fourth year is of clinical subjects. The teaching method consists of both thoery and practical. From 2nd year onwards we get to have the clinical exposure as we have our clinical postings in various departments in the hospital.

- Great exposure of patients due to a very large patient flow
- Specimen and other instrument which are in abundant quantity so that they are in reach of every student
- Brilliant faculty who are themselves specialized or super specialized
Dislikes
- Campus is shorter one and has less no of lecture theaters
- Gynae hospital is far away from main hospital and it's very hectic to go there
- Availability of good food is not that upto mark
Placement Experience:
As it is a medical college there is nothing like placement. The student only become eligible after getting the degree because of the reason that we will be dealing with real alive human bodies. The plans after this are basically becoming a medical officer or persuing NEET PG exam.

this is a good college, with good medical staff, good faculty and everything can be adjusted here, and we have good environment for study we have in campus library and that's too have coffee shop although the hospital is very busy but it's okay

Pros: college is very good if is seen in terms of study , extracurricular activities, experience, professionals. Every person is coprative.
Cons: Their is problem for parking of vehical in college.
Their is no large ground in colege where students can roam around.

Well from academics point of view, it is great. But infrastructure is old and the labs are not modern, a new building is expected to run by end of this year. There are no extracurricular activities and there is no focus on sports

Well the faculty is great and they are some of the best in entire state. But some buildings are old and need to be renovated. A new complex is under construction and hope to be operationalise by the end of the year.

Overall college is very good academically as well as reputation wise.
But you want to enjoy campus life then i dont recommend this college to you because there is literally no campus there.
But if you want to study well and be good doctor then you should join this college.

Admission:
Cleared neet examination conducted at all India level by CBSE in the year 2015 applied for state qouta and got 48th rank in state merit list and thus got admission into the college but only after clearing medical fitness test
