Likes

There are many things to be liked such as the lift facility in the college
There is badminton court and gym and other sports also
Functions such as freshers farewell stimulas etc happen regularly

Dislikes

There are no dislikes about the college as such excellent college
The infrastructure is a bit old but not bad it is very good

The curriculum is perfect and i have no complaints about it It is relevant The curriculum prepares us for real world applications or further academic pursuits Exams are held regularly Exsms are conducted in roper ad fair manner

No componies come for the i ternship but it as being the government coll3g3 government internships are provided to final year student The sallery offered is not much but good for apprentices so the plcements are not givern vut i ternships are given after the final year examination passing

I did not applied for other college because it is the top most medical college available in himachal pradesh It has its own legecy and it was my hono thst i could join thi institution I cleart the cutoff of this college in neet

Faculty

The whole faculty is excellent and well qualified and excellent professors. The faculty members are all understanding qnd approachable In first year the anatomy professor is the best according to me because of his teachi g skills

Night Life

The night life inside the college is nothi g much As the hostels are not in the college So the nightlife is not that good Csmpus timjng cary year to year The fameous places are the galkery cafeteria Badminton court auditorium etc

Course Curriculum Overview:

my cousins did their mbbs from this college and further my father's friends also refered this college. As i am doing mbbs therefore our college give us different scenario during our AETCOM ( attitude ethics and communication ) in which they ask us to perform a drama on the scenario and if we make any mistake during the performance they correct us and tell us what could have been the corect way. Our textbook also have different case studies on basic ethics. Our college conducts test every saturday for all the subjects that we have to appear in that year. Our college conducts 1st term , 2nd term and sent up examination. According to new NMC curriculum we are required to atleast score 50% in internal assessment. Then there are final examination after every year on the basis of which we are promoted to the next year.

I am doing my MBBS course from this college. I got admission in this college through NEET entrance examination. This is a new college started in 2016. I applied for NEET exam after completing my 12th. After clearing NEET, I applied with my score in counseling, and got admission in this college by my score. We must have studied Physics, Chemistry and biology in 12th and must have completed 17 years of age.

Remarks:

Well the faculty is great and they are some of the best in entire state. But some buildings are old and need to be renovated. A new complex is under construction and hope to be operationalise by the end of the year.

I applied for pgimer chandigarh where i was seleted. I choose igmc over the pgimer because of better climate of himachal pradesh.
