Remarks

College lacks infrastructure there is construction going on which will solve the problem of this infrastructure related issue. Some faculties are overburdened due to teaching plus running OPD doing Operations and administrative work. So additional faculty is required. Nahan is a small place with no theatre and malls, small food joints are there where you can munch on. 2 or 3 restaurants are there.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Curriculum was recently changed by MCI, which focuses on overall development of a child. 2 or 3 months are given for various induction programs. Workshops are held. Basic life support skills are taught, yoga, ward visits are done. So that students adapt to College and the course. That feeling of being a doctor is given to the students. Cultural programs are also done.

Placement Experience

5

Till now no internship program has started but soonly it will commence as soon as 2016 batch of MBBS will enter their 5th year. Howsoever Nursing students are doing their internship at the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I've not opted for any scholarship. But state authorities has some provisions for scholarships. Education loans are also provided by banks for medical education.

Campus Life

Gender that predominates is female in medical education. Parties are held regularly by students classes batches, Dissection hall tables. Anti ragging committee has been formed and strict security is there when new batch of students enter the course. And one week holidays are given to avoid ragging.

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostel is 4km away from College. Double seater rooms with adequate light and ventilation. Clean washroom and water facility. Hostel guards are there. Hostel is allotted to some of the students according to merit. Monthly you've to pay 6000 to hostel manager by UPI. And 24000 to the college in the beginning for whole year.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are the usually the more experienced in every sphere from begging because they've already experienced the same teachers, books and stress one year earlier. The journey of MBBS is like a roller coaster ride you hit highs and lows. During exam time seniors help in giving you topics that are asked frequently. In clinical posting they help you with examinations.

MBBS is some course I don't think I've to define, it's low-key a noble profession and worth the hardwork you'll be doing throughout past few years of NEET-ug preparation and 4.5 years of MBBS. And superiority complex among yo relatives, hahaha????

Its MBBS dude . Respected profession and lots of money. The curriculum is good very much emphasis on theoratical knowledge along with good amount of clinical hours for skill development. Improvements would be to lower the load on final prof. As too many subjects. Frequency of exams is 1 formative weekly and 3 terms at 3 months gap . One final examination yearly. They vary in difficulty.

Course Curriculum Overview:

One may choose the course of MBBS for various reasons, my being having a successful professional life which interests me. The perks of being a doctor are many , the primary being the ability to help the society at many levels with a good income and social status. Through MBBS one definitely learns a lot which prepares an individual for the harsh World we live in. Each viva, each scolding, each taunt and each exam surely feel bad at the moment but if the person is willing to rebuild on them they surely develop ones character. Coming to the academic part MBBS includes19 subjects. One can pursue any of the subjects in the future which requires you to qualify neet pg which would soon be replaced by NEXT exam. A thorough knowledge of the subjects is required to qualify the exam. It's known well that medical field is constantly evolved at a very rapid rate. However i personally feel that this college has lagged behind in catching up to it. Currently there is a need for better infrastructure.

Mbbs in itself is vast curriculum but it's interesting at the same time. We get to learn more about our body in first year through anatomy physiology and biochemistry. From second year onwards the preclinical subjects are more interesting one also the clinical postings make the cause much fun u got to see many patients and apply the bookish knowledge on the patients. Exams in mbbs are held from time to time which keep us going through the course very easily.
