Infrastructure is not upto the par the college is quite distributed as in for classes we have to walk a lot from one place to another

The curriculum is mbbs which has a very long and hard curriculum which us required to become a doctor and it prepares us for dealing with cases in real world cases which we will see when we become medical officers

Internships Opportunities

1 year internship is provided after 4 years of studying i which where we are posted in different departments where we learn a lot and interact with pateints one on one which is veey helpful also there are amazing teachers who also teach us a lot during internship

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is 60000 for first year and 50000 for 2nd, 3rd and 4th year if you opt for hostel 27000 for first time and then 24000 for rest of the years as 3000 is security fees these remain same for all categories except nri where the fees is 20000 US dollors .

Campus Life

There is not much extra curriculars in nahan college as the campus is nit there but you can join hobbies on your own as nahan city has somethings to offer sports is a huge deal over here also there are some function that happen in which you can take part in

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is great but it is quite far away from the college around 3 km so it is not very accessible through walking one has to take a bus but bus services are provided to and from the hostel also rented accomadation are not hard to find in nahan city

Admission

I couldnt get into other better colleges in himachal plus the nahan academics is quite high and its comnectivity to chandigarh is also a imp factor for choosing this college .the eligibilty is neet exam for which you have to get a very good score to get a seat in nahan college

Faculty is amazing and the there are 2 term exam one prelims with class tests in between which makes up our internal assesmnet which is very imp for us to sit in the final exam . Finals is the most imp test which us required to clear the year but so our the other terms ajd class test as they provude internal assesment for siting in finals

MBBS is some course I don't think I've to define, it's low-key a noble profession and worth the hardwork you'll be doing throughout past few years of NEET-ug preparation and 4.5 years of MBBS. And superiority complex among yo relatives, hahaha????

Its MBBS dude . Respected profession and lots of money. The curriculum is good very much emphasis on theoratical knowledge along with good amount of clinical hours for skill development. Improvements would be to lower the load on final prof. As too many subjects. Frequency of exams is 1 formative weekly and 3 terms at 3 months gap . One final examination yearly. They vary in difficulty.

Course Curriculum Overview:

One may choose the course of MBBS for various reasons, my being having a successful professional life which interests me. The perks of being a doctor are many , the primary being the ability to help the society at many levels with a good income and social status. Through MBBS one definitely learns a lot which prepares an individual for the harsh World we live in. Each viva,each scolding,each taunt and each exam surely feel bad at the moment but if the person is willing to rebuild on them they surely develop ones character. Coming to the academic part MBBS includes19 subjects. One can pursue any of the subjects in the future which requires you to qualify neet pg which would soon be replaced by NEXT exam. A thorough knowledge of the subjects is required to qualify the exam. It's known well that medical field is constantly evolved at a very rapid rate. However i personally feel that this college has lagged behind in catching up to it. Currently there is a need for better infrastructure.

INSIGHTFUL EVALUATION OF MAHARISHI MARKENDESHWAR MEDICAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL SOLAN

Course Curriculum Overview:

my cousins did their mbbs from this college and further my father's friends also refered this college. As i am doing mbbs therefore our college give us different scenario during our AETCOM ( attitude ethics and communication ) in which they ask us to perform a drama on the scenario and if we make any mistake during the performance they correct us and tell us what could have been the corect way. Our textbook also have different case studies on basic ethics. Our college conducts test every saturday for all the subjects that we have to appear in that year. Our college conducts 1st term , 2nd term and sent up examination. According to new NMC curriculum we are required to atleast score 50% in internal assessment. Then there are final examination after every year on the basis of which we are promoted to the next year.

Medical College in Nahan

College lacks infrastructure there is construction going on which will solve the problem of this infrastructure related issue. Some faculties are overburdened due to teaching plus running OPD doing Operations and administrative work. So additional faculty is required.
