Mbbs in itself is vast curriculum but it's interesting at the same time. We get to learn more about our body in first year through anatomy physiology and biochemistry. From second year onwards the preclinical subjects are more interesting one also the clinical postings make the cause much fun u got to see many patients and apply the bookish knowledge on the patients. Exams in mbbs are held from time to time which keep us going through the course very easily.

Internships Opportunities

1 year Internship is compulsory in mbbs . You are posted in AIIMS hospital only. Stipend offered now is 30 k per month. You get to interact with patients so well in this time . You are posted for 9 to 5 shift ,24 hour shift and 48 hour shift in the hospital

Fees and Financial Aid

Mbbs fees in AIIMS is just 5800 for the total 5.5 years which includes tuition fees, hostel rent, electricity charges and other security charges. You only need to pay 3500 as mess fees monthly apart from this fees.

Campus Life

Campus Life here is full of fun . There are various clubs and committees like literary,cultural, academic,sports, tourism etc. ht infrastructure is quite good as it is a newly build AIIMS. Campus offers all of the indoor and outdoor sports like basketball, cricket, badminton, chess , carrom ,table tennis, etc.

Hostel Facilities

We are alloted hostel in the campus itself with double occupancy room, common washrooms with 24 7 water and electricity supply and gym facilities. Mess is in hostel area itself and it serves breakfast, lunch, snacks in evening and dinner. The food is quite good with dal rice seasonal vegetable curd salad and chapati

Admission

12 pass students in physics chemistry and biology are eligible for neet exam and if u get a decent rank in neet exam around 2500 to 3000 u can get AIIMS Bilaspur, cut off will increase every year although

Faculty

Faculty here at AIIMS Bilaspur is top notch. Most of the faculty members are from AIIMS Delhi , pgi Chandigarh and other AIIMS. Their teaching method is outstanding. They are very kind and helpful both in academic and co curricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

my cousins did their mbbs from this college and further my father's friends also refered this college. As i am doing mbbs therefore our college give us different scenario during our AETCOM ( attitude ethics and communication ) in which they ask us to perform a drama on the scenario and if we make any mistake during the performance they correct us and tell us what could have been the corect way. Our textbook also have different case studies on basic ethics. Our college conducts test every saturday for all the subjects that we have to appear in that year. Our college conducts 1st term , 2nd term and sent up examination. According to new NMC curriculum we are required to atleast score 50% in internal assessment. Then there are final examination after every year on the basis of which we are promoted to the next year.

I am doing my MBBS course from this college. I got admission in this college through NEET entrance examination. This is a new college started in 2016. I applied for NEET exam after completing my 12th. After clearing NEET, I applied with my score in counseling, and got admission in this college by my score. We must have studied Physics, Chemistry and biology in 12th and must have completed 17 years of age.

Remarks:

Well the faculty is great and they are some of the best in entire state. But some buildings are old and need to be renovated. A new complex is under construction and hope to be operationalise by the end of the year.
