All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bilaspur, popularly known as AIIMS Bilaspur, is a public medical institute and a hospital located in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh. It is a public Institute of National importance and one of the new AIIMS in India, established under Phase-V of the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) initiative. AIIMS bilaspur has a beautiful infrastructure.secondly it is located in himachal pradesh which makes social life adventurous .

There are some restriction in our college bec. It is recently built .mbbs students are not allowed vehicles in campus
It ia located in small town so hampers our daily life but not at high level. We have to go to main city for our parties and enjoyment.

Academic structure and curriculum in the campus

I cleared nda as well as neet ug exam but due to my parents I joined mbbs as ug degree. The curriculum is good in AIIMS bilaspur. It prepares us well for future patient traetmnet however it will be more specific in pg degree. The teaching methods is best

Campus internship opportunities and stipend

We have a compulsory intershiof 1 year in AIIMS campus itself . AIIMS provide a stipend of 30000 per month during internship.however it donot confirms any placement.internship is compulsory. Stipend may also increase in proceeding years.

Total fees of the course and scholarship

There is no fee structure yearly. Aiims colleges provide a total 5.5 year fee structure of 5856/- only . There is no discrimination in fees according to reservations. It is same for all students . However they may charge fees of 500/- rupees per subject in final proff. Examination of each year . There are many scholarships offer available for ews students such as ONGC scholarship and many others which college staff inform the student time to time

Various events, sports and infrastructure of the campus

Our college fest is SYNECHIAE and it is scheduled in november month every year. Fest is really good and helps in entertaining our boring study life. As our college is new so library is new and contains some basic books only . However it will be updated in upcoming years.amenities in classroom include fully ac and free wifi including projector and white boards. And about sports we have football ground, basketball court and golf ground .also includes tt room and gym in respective hostels . There are many instagram channels of aiims bilaspur. And quora websites etc. Extracurricular activities include celebrating festivals , dj nights , and football tournamnents.

What are facilities available in the college hostel and its fees?

Aiims bilaspur have compulsory hostel for every mbbs student .the hostel fee is only 100 rupees and it is already included in 5856 /- There are 2 mess in aiims and many food stalls . However mess is also compulsory for mbbs students. Food quality is ok ok . That is common in every college as student always miss their home food. As mbbs is compulsory so we cannot rent a pg od room unless we are suspended.

Faculty and examination pattern of the college

Qualification of faculty varies acc. To subject however most of them have done mbbs then md/ms and various fellowship programmes and some professors have also done bsc and msc . The teaching faculty is very good and experienced. However we have to study by ourselves only. Exams are scheduled as 1 end term then 1 mid term then pre proff and proff examination. Difficulty level varies acc.

Admission process and eligibility criteria of the college

Getting admission in aiims you must be in top cream of neet ug examination i.e. conducted by nta. Then for admission you have ro paticipate in mcc counselling. My college aiims bilaspur has last year closing cut off as - General-2803 Obc-3799 ST-52297 Good aspects of aiims bilaspur acc.to me are 1)build in himachal so makes college life interesting 2) it is very clean and pollution and noise free 3)it's campus is very beautiful 4) good connectivity with big cities like chandigarh Disadvantages are 1) so many restrictions 2) new built therfore less clinical exposure 3) nothing else it is almost good For joining aiims bilaspur i participated in mcc counselling and joined some telegram channels for college information and choice filling etc .

Admission:

Most suitable reason behind choosing this college is fee structure and campus.. facilities are provided very good in government set up .it a national level institute which means our degree have a reputation as well as their is no bond system after completing the degree.

Peaceful environment with mesmerizing view of mountains
Campus here is really beautiful. All facilities are present in campus only.
Close to main cities like Chandigarh and Shimla...approx 76 km from both

Dislikes

One may dislike the rules and regulations of this college about permissions for every thing

Admission:

Prior to this, I applied in AIIMS New Delhi, MAMC, VMMC, AIIMS Rishikesh. Reason for rejection is simply cutoff marks for these colleges. Admission process needs 3-4 rounds of counselling. Exam you have to prepare for is NEET UG. Cutoff for this college is All India rank under 3000 otu of 26 lakh students.

I like the aiims bilaspur infrastructure and climate also.because here climate almost stable and no most seasonal changes.that purpose it's good for vip person also.I suggested that if you have a chance you may come here.
in my ideas that college growing up in next time in sort period.its very important for us.
In all aiims the facilities very best.In our aiims the facilities do very hardworking to provide me good studies and facilities also.And they behave with students is very simple and make friendly environment to learn more about MBBD.

Dislikes

in this institute near don't have picnic or tourism place.
in this institute not having good ground for students.

Admission:

my admission through entrance exam that neet UG examination and get admissions through counselling by mcc. the eligibility have marrit base selection.in this year marrit rank depends on category. it's very helpful

The science beauty of the college attracted me towards the college. Also the brilliant infrastructure, teachers and helpful seniors are a great addition too. This college has great diversity in the college and people from all over india meet here.

IT HAS A EXCELLENT INFRASTRUCTURE WITH A PEACEFUL ENVIRONMENT THAT IS ABSENT IN MOST OF OTHER GOVERNMENT COLLEGES
MOREOVER IT IS POLLUTION FREE AND HAS A BEST VIEW OF HILLS AND AWESOME SUNRISE AND SUNSET MOMENTS
Best Hostel rooms I have ever seen in a government medical It includes double seater rooms with a fabulous view in balcony,Big Almirahas and Good Furniture That includes one Chair and a study table

Dislikes

Most disliked thing about AIIMS BIlaspur is that it is highly underrated

I had Made a choice filling of only AIIMS Which includes AIIMS Delhi at top followed by AIIMS Rishikeshthen AIIMS bilaspur then AIIMS bathinda only I rejected AIIMS bathinda due to some infrastructure related issue and hostel issue in which 5 seater rooms are provided Admission procedure is same that of other colleges under mcc guidelines

AIIMS bilaspur has a beautiful infrastructure.secondly it is located in himachal pradesh which makes social life adventurous .
AIIMS bilaspur has good sports and extra curricular activities arrangement.

Dislikes

It ia located in small town so hampers our daily life but not at high level. We have to go to main city for our parties and enjoyment.
There are some restriction in our college bec. It is recently built .mbbs students are not allowed vehicles in campus

Balcony view of hostel is awesome . The campus of my college is best compared to other colleges

College has many restrictions. Library is not properly functional.

Admission:

Getting admission in aiims you must be in top cream of neet ug examination i.e. conducted by nta. Then for admission you have ro paticipate in mcc counselling . My college aiims bilaspur has last year closing cut off as - General-2803 Obc-3799 ST-52297 Good aspects of aiims bilaspur acc.to me are 1)build in himachal so makes college life interesting 2) it is very clean and pollution and noise free 3)it's campus is very beautiful 4) good connectivity with big cities like chandigarh Disadvantages are 1) so many restrictions 2) new built therfore less clinical exposure 3) nothing else it is almost good For joining aiims bilaspur i participated in mcc counselling and joined some telegram channels for college information and choice filling etc .

Dislikes

Tough to walk sometimes as there is slope. Also mess food is devastating sometimes.
Not much in City to do. Very less city experience
Vehicles not allowed for UG Students. Can use only bicycles

Admission:

Through Neet. Nta is the website you need to visit. 1500/- mostly application fee. Dates of exam is in first week sunday of may every year Frequency is 1 per year and the difficulty is very very high only 50000 get gov. Seats out of 2500000 students. Very competitive but good for the profession making foctors more competent

Life at AIIMS Bilaspur

Likes

locality is good nature wise . Waking up to a beautiful sky is a bliss.
Facilities like sports grounds are good for rejuvenation.

Dislikes

Fests could have been better. People are working on making them good.
It is based in Bilaspur,it's like 10-15 minutes away from the actual town.There isn't much to do in Bilaspur.

Admission:

Qualifying NEET with good marks is required to get admission in this college.You have to apply by selecting the college during counselling which starts after the result declaration of NEET. There is no state quota applicable here,so you will find people from different states here.Cutoff is lesser for people in reservation categories.For general you have to score above 650-660. After being allotted this college,you have to reach there for the admission. You have to fill out some forms ,submit your original documents for a while along with copies of each.You also have to undergo a medical examination where basically your health checkup is done.After completion you'll be alloted your hostel room and you're good to go.
