14 Jun, 2025 NEET UG 2025 has successfully concluded on May 4 in 566 cities across India and abroad for admission to MBBS/ BDS/ B.Sc Nursing/ BAMS/ BUMS/ BHMS/ B.V.Sc. NEET UG 2025 Answer Key by various coaching institutes is currently available here. NTA will release the official answer keys in the fourth week of May 2025 followed by the results on the official portal @neet.nta.nic.in by June 14 (tentatively).

Atal Medical and Research University, popularly called AMRU and earlier known as Himachal Pradesh University of Health Sciences, is the first state university of Himachal Pradesh. The university is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and was established in 2019. AMRU came into existence after the enactment of The Himachal Pradesh University of Health Sciences Act, 2017. The university has 60 affiliated colleges/ institutes.

AMRU offers UG and PG courses in Medical, Dental, Ayurveda, Nursing, Paramedical and Pharmacy. MBBS, BSc Nursing, MD/MS, MDS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BPharma, and MSc Nursing are some of the major courses offered at the university. Candidates can enroll in MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, and BUMS based on valid scores in NEET UG. AMRU MDS and MD/MS (medical) admission are based on scores obtained in NEET MDS and NEET PG, respectively. AMRU Admission 2024

AMRU Admission for different UG and PG programs depends upon the score obtained in the entrance examination. Candidates seeking admission to MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS, MDS and MD/MS must clear NEET UG, NEET MDS and NEET PG, respectively. For admission to BSc Nursing/Post Basic BSc Nursing/MSc Nursing, individuals must clear the AMRU Nursing Entrance Examination, followed by counselling.

AMRU MD/MS (Ayurveda) Admission depends upon the score obtained in the AIAPGET examination.
For other courses, such as BSc in Medical Technology and BPharma (Ayurveda), the scores obtained in entrance exams conducted by the university are accepted.
The HP NEET counselling will be conducted for admission to 85% of State Quota seats of the MBBS/BDS program offered by the university.
The final allocation of seats for admission to various courses is done through the counselling conducted by AMRU.
The university will release the seat allotment list of candidates who are shortlisted for the different affiliated colleges based on their ranks.

BAMS worth it or not

Likes

Very disciplined environment is what i like.But sometimes it feels like burden.
There is annual fest held every year for a week .4 days of sports event and 3 days of cultural events and locally famous singers are invited as well.
Teachers often recommend students to different feilds and those in top 10 are selected for house duty for a year after internship.

Dislikes

Sometimes theres too much discipline and auditorium is too small although new one is in making.
Teachers do a little favourism esp with boys.
Patient flow is not equal in every department.Hostel condition is not good.

Students view on course

It was about holistic health and healing the body and mind to which i was attracted. As per academicpersuits you can pursue MD DM and phd after this and go to teaching line or you can become research scientist or a physician. Syllabus is shortened which is not good and they should not take soo many exams. Exams aren't difficult that much but frequency is really high.

Paid internship opportunity provided by the college

Internship is done in college hospital for 9 months and in nearby government hospitals for 3 months . Stipend in 12000 rupees only. You need to look after patients in different departments and give thwm their medicines or you can say that you needed for routine checkup. Internship is the timeyou get to learn practical application of whatever you have studied.

Fees structure of the course per year

Year wise fees is decreasing. Tuition fees - 12000 Security fee - 6000 Lab fees - 5000 Management fee - 3000 Tour fee - 6000 Library fee - 2000 Magazine fees- 1000 Development fees - 3000 Those who don't live in hostel security fees is excluded.

Students view on campus life

There's no club thing going on.There is annual fest held every year for 7 days straight. Sports activities are held a lot. Yes there are student rum social groups on instagram. There is an outdoor badminton court and volley ball court.

Facilities provided in the college hostel

In room you are provided with a bed box chair and table and an almirah.You need to buy blanket quilt and pillow mattress bucket bulb and stuff you want for yourself and there is a common tubelight.A room is shared by 3 people .Room is quite spacious with an attached balcony . Washrooms are common 3 qashroom s and 3 bathrooms over 12 people.

Students view on faculties and examination

Faculties are in good number there are almost 22 departments and each department contains 4 -5 faculty members. Dr Akhilesh Sir i like him because he is very good teacher and the approach he males for teachinh amd Dr Pooja Makhnotra Ma'am as she is very supporting and motherly amd a good teacher. There are 9 periodic assesments held after every 40 days and 2 house tests of 100 marks each subject and viva included plus activities. Knly 2 or 3 students fail.Course is relevant but thesyllabus amd soo many exams sometimes feel a lot and useless.

Admission process and eligibility criteria

I applied for other colleges too.This college was my 3rd option after NIA jaipur and ITRA jamnagar . I didn't get NIA and i didn't opted for another round to get ITRA as it doesn't provide hostel facilities. As for asmission it is done through your result in neet organised by NTA . Cutoff goes high likewhen i admitted it was around 570 out of 720 but nowadays it is 610/720.

Night Life

No gym.there is one canteen which runs until 8 pm .female students are not aloud outside hostel after 8pm and boys after 12 am.There is a fungistan at walking distance from college which has maggie point and beautiful sunset. Night life is not at all at this college.

Good college for homoeopathy studies

Campus Life is good. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Very interactive. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.
The aspects of the college that I appreciate is it's place where it is situated and teaching.

Admission:

I chose this college firstly because of the location. It is situated in the valleys of solan, Himachal Pradesh. The weather here is very nice and a little cold for most of the months. The place is very affordable. Admissions is made through online counseling conducted by Atal Medical & Research University, Nerchowk, Mandi, H.P. NEET UG of current session qualified candidates. NEET General category candidates scoring 35 percentile (112 marks) & SC/ST/OBC scoring 25 percentile (87 marks) can also apply.

The quality of the infrastructure, including campus amenities and learning facilities are very good as aspected from college.

I applied to homoeopathic college in Ludhiana and also I got confirmed seat their but I still choose this college for their infrastructure, faculty, staff, the environment around the college is very very well as compared to other colleges.

a lot of patients are there thats why easy for students to access things
i like availability of nice infrastructure amid the beautiful valley of shimla and also practical knowledge as heavy flow of patients is there.

Dislikes

cafeteria needs to improve as there is no availability of variety in food
due to large batch size some students tend to be hidden among masses
some people tend to take upper hands because of authority

Admission:

the admission is via NEET UG examination conducted evry year by national testing agency. it is 720 marks paper with a particular cutoff according to scoring every year. and then accordingly colleges are provided and there is no choice but if you work hard enough you can end up scoring marks eligible for admission in college you wish

Infrastructure is also too good ..nice environment and moreover teaching staffs too..
Govt colleges are best to study more and in depth also

There are less holidays ofcourse in medical fields

I chose this college because it was far better than degree college which I closed earlier and for admission in it....thank God ... This clllg is far better than others and too the degree which is highly profitable in future if one studies hards enough and pursues better career options

There is annual fest held every year for a week .4 days of sports event and 3 days of cultural events and locally famous singers are invited as well.
Very disciplined environment is what i like.But sometimes it feels like burden.

Dislikes

Sometimes theres too much discipline and auditorium is too small although new one is in making.

There are many events happening in our college, which encouraged the student to find their inner talent
Balance, gender ratio with higher number of girls, the environment is secure for all the reason and it is also very friendly
The sex ratio of girls to boys is 3.3 :1 He in my class there is about 13-14 guys And 46 to 47 girls

Dislikes

I think we need to improve in my college is the resources. It has limited resources for many reasons. It should work on it.
Though it is nice vibe in general, but it somehow can lead to some bad circles too
There is a huge disparity in participation in extracurricular activity in college girls in college are more active in this, and I think it should be changed by equaling the number of participation

Admission:

The college is at good place. The pollution is not a thing here I was looking for a green campus and it provides me that When I talk about process you have to basically give NEET exam and after that you have to apply for the counseling
