The entire seat acceptance process is completed online at josaa.nic.in. Follow these steps before the July 20, 5:00 PM IST deadline.

1. Log in to josaa.nic.in: Use your JEE Advanced 2026 registration number and password to access your JoSAA dashboard.
2. Check your Round 5 allotment: View and download your seat allotment letter. Confirm the IIT name, programme, and category details.
3. Pay the seat acceptance fee: Click "Pay Seat Acceptance Fee" on your dashboard. The system redirects you to the payment gateway (EPG). Choose debit card, credit card, or net banking and complete the payment. Save the receipt immediately.

• Original document verification: Carry originals and self-attested copies of all uploaded documents. The institute verifies them before issuing the final confirmation of admission.
