The JEE Advanced 2025 application form has been released by IIT Kanpur on April 23, 2025, at 10 AM, for the Indian nationals. The JEE Advanced registration for foreign nationals (OCI/PIO) has begun from April 7, 2025 on the official website. The last date of registration for both Indian and Foreign nationals is May 2, 2025 and the last date for the application fee payment is May 5, 2025.

JEE Main 2025 Session 2 result has been announced. NTA has released the JEE Advanced qualifying cutoffs along with the result. The JEE Main 2025 qualifying cutoffs are: General (93.1023262), EWS (80.3830119), OBC - NCL (79.4313582), SC (61.1526933) and ST (47.9026465). 2,50,236 candidates have qualified to appear for the JEE Advanced 2025 exam. These candidates can register for the JEE Advanced 2025 exam through the official website.

The JEE Advanced registration involves application form filing, uploading of required documents and payment of the application fee. Candidates also have to choose eight exam cities according to their preference. The final exam center will be listed on the JEE Advanced 2025 admit card.

JEE Advanced registration fees are INR 1600 for female (all categories), SC, ST and PwD candidates, for all the other candidates the JEE Advanced application fee is INR 3200.

JEE Advanced 2025 exam is scheduled on May 18, 2025. The JEE Advanced exam will be conducted in two shifts, Paper 1 from 9 AM to 12 PM and Paper 2 from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

JEE Advanced 2025 Registration

The JEE Advanced 2025 application process includes logging in using the JEE Main application number, entering required details, uploading scanned documents, paying the application fee online and printing the registration confirmation. Once the application is submitted, the form cannot be edited or corrected.

JEE Advanced 2025 Registration Fee Structure

The candidates have to pay the fees on the MOPS page. Payment can be made through Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking/UPI. Foreign Nationals must use International Debit/Credit Cards issued by Foreign Banks.

JEE Advanced 2025 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced 2025 exam, the candidates should be in the top 2.5 lakh students qualifying the JEE Main 2025 exam. The candidate cannot attempt JEE Advanced more than two times in two years.

Candidates registering for the JEE Advanced 2025 exam must be born on or after October 1, 2000. For reserved categories there is a five year relaxation, so they must be born on or after October 1, 1995.

The candidates who have been admitted to any IIT through JoSAA 2024 and their admission was later cancelled by the IIT after joining are not eligible to register for JEE Advanced 2025.

Category-Wise Reservation in JEE Advanced 2025

The Government of India offers reservation policy to various categories to ensure equal opportunities. JEE Advanced 2025 exam follows these policies and offers reserved seats to SC, ST, OBC, EWS and PwD category candidates. Foreign Nationals are not eligible to avail the reservation benefits.

GEN-EWS and OBC-NCL category candidates must have their category certificates issued on or after April 1, 2025.

A 5% horizontal reservation is applicable for PwD candidates across all categories and one seat is reserved in every institute for PwD candidates with Dyslexia.

JEE Advanced 2025 Eligibility for Foreign Nationals 

The foreign national students are required to appear for the JEE Main 2025 in order to apply for the JEE Advanced 2025 exam. The foreign national students are not included in the 2.5 lakh students qualifying for JEE Advanced through JEE Main.

If they qualify, the seats allotted to foreign nationals are supernumerary with a limit of 10% of the total number of seats in every course. They are not eligible for the reserved seats under the EWS, OBC - NCL, SC, ST and PwD.

JEE Advanced 2025 Application Form Correction Window

Unlike other major exams, there is no application form correction window for JEE Advanced. JEE Advanced application form 2025 once submitted will not be editable. You have to be very careful while filling in your application as no corrections are allowed later. After the conclusion of registration, JEE Advanced 2025 Admit Card will be issued to the eligible candidates.

Ques. I appeared for my class 12 boards in 2022. Am I eligible to apply for JEE Advanced 2025?

Ans. If you have appeared for the first time in class 12 boards or equivalent examination in 2023, you are not eligible for JEE Advanced 2025. However, if your board result was declared on or after September 21, 2023, you can apply for JEE Advanced 2025.

Ques. Is IIT JEE Advanced registration only for B.Tech?

Ans. Yes, JEE Advanced registration 2025 from April 21 to 30 is only for B.E/ B.Tech in IITs. For B.Arch admission in IIT Roorkee, IIT Kharagpur, and IIT Varanasi, Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) is conducted. The registration for AAT 2025 will be carried out separately on jeeadv.ac.in from June 02 to 03, 2025.
