The faculty to student ratio is very healthy. Each faculty literally knows about you and have healthy interaction with them regarding all the issues and problems a student is facing. They have mentors for each student and they are very much approachable. All the faculty are experts in their field. There are 2 continuous internal assessments. Midsemester is there and then there is endsem examinations as everywhere else. The course curriculum is too the needs as per the industry and there is nothing missing as far as the course you have choosen to be true.
the faculty's approach towards the students is quite good and they ask whether are we understanding the classes or not and if we have any doubt they clarify it quite efficiently.. I liked the physics faculty as the sir's teaching is excellent and he explains everything in a amazing way.. There is no particular faculty that i disliked as all the teachers put in their best efforts to make sure that children understands the cl;ass in a best possible way.. There are 6 exams in my sem each exam range based on their difficulty level but some exams are quite lengthy and difficult.. Many pass the exams but there is rare sight that students fail the exam that is 2 out 70.. Course which they are teaching us is quite relatable to the curriculum
I like the campus infrastructure, talented faculty, full green campus,Good campus students interaction with other students, and all the students are merit students.
All the faculty are IIT graduates, highly talented and served country in some fields.Mentorship quality is not so good but ok when compared to other colleges.
Faculty:
Students are very few in each course.Total students in the university for four years will not cross 1300. Faculty to student ratio is good.Faculty are student friendly and they are easily approchable and contactable. I like venugopal sir who our maths hod and maths professor, shanmughan srinivasan sir who is our digital designing professor are very studently friendly. There is no one where i dont like almost all are good and some are strict in college. There will be two CIAs and one mid sem and final semester exams per one sem.Exams are very tough and they will not even pass you.The professor want to pass talented batches from university. In first year exams there are some students who failed due to high toughness of exams.
The faculties here are very supportive and understanding. The faculty student ratio is really good as you can approach any faculty without any hindrance. All the facilities will help with anything required. Faculties from other departments can also be approached easily. There is no issues with contacting any of the professors.
There are two semesters each year. Each semester has two continuous assessment examination along with mid semester examination and end semester examination. There is sufficient time given between all these examination. Once the semester starts there is a continuous assessment followed by mid semester then continuous assessment and end semester
All the faculties are very chill and friendly, they teach in a way that every student in class can relate and understand.
Faculty:
the faculty student ratio is what students really admire in Shiv Nadar University, the ratio is 1:20 and the faculties are pretty approachable. Personally, My favourite faculty is Dr. Sundharakumar KB who handles Data Mining and Visualisation Course and he is pretty good in the way he teaches. The Best faculties according to me are Mrs.Divya, Mr.Sundharakumar and Mr.Rohith Kumar
Faculty student ratio, is pretty high. There are sufficient well qualified staff. In the perspective of examinations, there are 2 internal exams, 1 midsem and an end semester exam. The difficulty is harder than anna university on a comparative standard, but easily passable with proper dedicated study.
There is not much relationship between the professors and students but we can clarify out doubts during the class hours
There is no teacher whom i hate or like i just don't like the some courses like evs which do not help in our career
We have 5 exams in a semester comparitively more than other colleges
Cat 1 (converted to 5)
Mid sem (converted to 30
Cat 2 (converted to 5)
Cat 3 (converted to 10)
End sem (converted to 50)
Totally 100
There's not a lot of faculty yet as it still is a new college. There isn't enough specialized faculty for every course and specialization. The faculty that is there, is very approachable and friendly. They all maintain extremely good relations with the students and are always available for us when we need them. The exams are moderately difficult, it all depends on the faculty handling the question paper. Sometimes the question papers come from other colleges like IITs and NITs too. The course curriculum is highly relevant and is up to date with the current world. This is a very big advantage for this current market requirements and opportunities.
I think the faculty to student ratio is too good and this the best thing about this college... Because in our college student intake is very less compared to other colleges... This helps the students during palcements because there will no heavy competition.. Favulties are very approachable and helpful.
Some of our faculties are very helpful and try their best to make our learning nice
Dislikes
Some of the faculty are not well experienced which makes it a little difficult for us to learn
