What Students Say

Likes

The first I like about my college is the atmosphere here. It is all filled with greenary
The infrastructure is awesome.. All our classrooms are well designed amd equiped.
The thing is the faculty here... Almost everyone is one reputed institutions.

Dislikes

Hostels are okay but.. Sometimes thet are not well maintained.. But considering the fee they are far better.
Mess food is good but it is sometimes boring
I addressed only these two issues and rest everything is fine

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I would say that course curriculum is very good... Because it has no unnecessary subject which most of the affiliated colleges have.. And it contains only the subject which will help us with our placements. Here we will have atleast one test a month may be it is internals or mid or whatever this helps us to keep in touch with the subject

Class Size: 83Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Coming to the internships many high paying companies like motarq and paypal offered internships this year. Roles they offered are mostly Sre roles and roles related to data science. The palcements here are decent. I think the situation will get better in the comiy years.

Placement Experience

Our college is a new college and this year the first out going batch is attending for placements. But still many of the students got their internships and this hear the highest CTC is 88 lakhs. And many high paying companies like motarq and paypal are offering the placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise course we are paying for btech is 300000.And this is same for every year... While for the other departments the course fee is a little less. Hostel fee is samefor every one. Coming to the registration fee it is 20000 it is one-time and not refundable. There is no lab fee as such. And the caution fee is also 20000 it is one-time refundable. And there is merit based scholarship in this college.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus life here is great... U will have all facilities like sports, gym etc.. And every year we will have a technical fest named invente... It happens for three days and it is great. And every year an annual event named instincs happens here it is awesome

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Coming to the hostels they are good. We will have two categories ac and non ac. And obviously the cost for non ac room is a little high. Mess food os decent. The hostel fee very affordable compared to outside.

Hostel Fee: INR 78000 per year

Admission

As far as I have observed I found this college far better than many other colleges have applied. Tuis college has an entrance exam to get in to it. After qualifing the exam u should be attending an interview. After qualifying which you will be getting the admission.

Faculty

4.5

I think the faculty to student ratio is too good and this the best thing about this college... Because in our college student intake is very less compared to other colleges... This helps the students during palcements because there will no heavy competition.. Favulties are very approachable and helpful.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

Likes

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

Placement Experience:

Chennai Institute of Technology is an instituition that truly prioritizes student career growth . The placement cell is exceptionallu well-organized ,consistently connecting students with reputed companies across various industries. What makes CIT stood out is the quality of its training staff. They focus heavily on communication , technical knowledge and competitive preparation ,align students with what top companies expect ,and contiuosly push us to improve and meet industry standards. Their structured training helped me to clearly identify my strengths and work on my weak areas, which made a huge difference during interviews and boosted my overall confidence. The department faculty are equally commnedable ,knowledgable ,approachable and genuinely invested in student career. Overall CIT is an excellent choice for anyone focused on building a strong and sucessful career

The Authentic Review

i applied to other colleges like vit, amrita, srm, bitsat, snu and got confirmed by other colleges like vit and srm and snu.. I choose this college from others because this is a college with limited seat opportunities and provides good competition between each others among peers here is a merit selection in this college.. Yeah i got rejection in amrita exam as i did'nt write the exam because i did'nt prepare for it because i got severe dengue fever for 10 days like before the exam.. The admission process of my college is first written exam in online mode after wards if you get selected you will called for an interview afterwards they select you based on your performance. The eligibility which they accpeted was 75% marks in boards and the exams most preferred by students was vit.....Read More

Genuine review

This college SNUC is with unique futuristic courses. SNUC has the level of highness that i expected. When you compare SNUC with VIT it is very much better. The crowd in VIT will be very high and there are no sports facilities and extracurricular activities that develop students. That much crowd may be difficult to professors focus on you. In SNUC the campus is 230 acer but the crowd is very less and the professors can easily put there attention on you and also we have international level cricket and football ground. Admission process is only through SNUCEE exam which contain the negative marking also. You have to get more than 75% in your 12 th board exams then only youre eligible for this exam.If you qualify this exam then you will have interview round and after you qualify the interview round you will be sent with a offer letter to admission....Read More

In comparison to other colleges the crowd here is less . For my batch we have 300 people in engineering since the intake is less it is easy to grab opportunity when we get .
