Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum is well structured, covering both foundational and advanced topics making it more relevant and comprehensive. It balances theory and practical applications, preparing students for industry roles and further studies. Regular assessments ensure consistent learning, though exams can be challenging. Improvements could include more hands on projects updated industry relevant content and interactive teaching methods. Overall, it provides a strong academic foundation with room for enhancement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise tuition fee is 3 lakh 50k and caution fees is 20k, career development is 6k. There is no other compulsory charges. Everything is given on the college websites. There are scholarships based on the merit and the performance based on previous year score. You can avail the other schreolarship as well from different scholarship platforms.

Campus Life

5

Campus life has been vibrant and engaging with numerous opportunities for social interaction, extracurricular activities and personal growth. The college hosts annual cultural - Instincts and technical fest - Invente in March and October respectively. The library is well stacked with academic books research journal and digital resources ensuring access to study materials. Classrooms are equipped with modern technology including smart boards projectors and wifi enhancing the learning experience. It has its own football ground and cricket stadium beside all the indoor games. Students clubs such as the coding club, Drama society and robotics club and other clubs totalling to 21 clubs are there in the college boosting peer learning and networking.

Hostel Facilities

5

The hostel facilities are well equipped offering furnished rooms with beds, studytables cupboards and attached/ shared bathrooms. Wifi laundry, and common recreational areas are provided. The mess serves a rotating menu with decent meal quality though variety and taste could improve. The hostel registration process is straightforward with an application based on first come first served availability. Fees are affordable compared to private PGs.

Admission

I chose this college for its strong academic reputation, faculty expertise, placement opportunities and campus facilities. I applied to other college but preferred this one for its balanced curriculum and industry exposure. The admission process includes eligiblity criteria entrance exams and merit based selection. Common exams accepted vary, with competitive cutoffs ensuring quality intake. The experience was smooth and well organised.

Faculty

5

The faculty to student ratio is very healthy. Each faculty literally knows about you and have healthy interaction with them regarding all the issues and problems a student is facing. They have mentors for each student and they are very much approachable. All the faculty are experts in their field. There are 2 continuous internal assessments. Midsemester is there and then there is endsem examinations as everywhere else. The course curriculum is too the needs as per the industry and there is nothing missing as far as the course you have choosen to be true.

Night Life

5

Nightlife around the college is mostly laidback with students unwinding at cafeterias hostels and nearby hangout spots. The library is closed by 8 pm. Most of the hostels have an in time ensuring safety. Popular hangout spots inside the campus include Clock Tower and Vama Sundari Park while outside, students visit Kovalam beach, Kelambakkam and other places in Chennai. These social experiences help students relax, bond and create lasting memories amidst academic pressures.

Placement Experience:

The college provides four tracks for students: the placement track, higher studies track, entrepreneur track and the government exam track. Students can opt for any one track during their third year of study. The campus placements starts from the mid of third year. Mnc's like Accenture, cognizant visited our company the ratio is also good. Lot of startup's and core companies have also hired students.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from 5 th semester ,however they are not allowed to join companies before completing the current course. Many companies have visited like(CTS, Accenture, Soti, cart rabbit , course 5i and many more) in my batch out of 800+ students around 200 - 250 got placed . The highest pacakge is 13.5 LPA and the average package is around 4.5 LPA - 6LPA. College say its 100 percent placement but nowadays its not true because about 20-25 percent students are bot placed because of skill issues. My plan is to get placed in a good company and save some decent amount and start trading.
