Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements.. The companies come to our college hpoping for the skills which they want and hire students with those skills,, 4 to 5 big companies visited our college like 12 to 13 were based on the performance.. up to now paypal company has hired a senior from our college for 1.2 cr which makes the highest package of our college and the average package is around 7.5Lakhs.. around 70% students get placed and the rest go to higher studies.. If i get the job after the degree i will do it otherwise i have plan of doing coaching in upsc coaching and give the upsc exam as i have the long term goal to become ips or ias officers

Infrastructure is very nice and placements are also very good.For career development the support is provided and friendly professors.Course curriculum is very vigorrous and effective to present industry market

Placement Experience:

Generally this college is recently established in 2021 the first batch will go out in 2025. So starting placements is good but not so good. But we got highest package of one crore in our first batch itself. Many big companis like motorq,paypal etc., visted our campus for placements. Students also got placements in google and microsoft and in many other MNCs. Average package may be 9 lakhs at present and it will increase in upcoming years. About 60-70% students gort placements and remaining are goping for MTECH. My plans after getting degree was to get placed in a big company with good package

FACTS ABOUT SNU CHENNAI

Placement Experience:

We have placement in our college and it starts with internship offers from third year . The highest package was 88Lpa and avg is 6Lpa. Most of the students have been placed , since the ones who got an internship offer are mostly given PPOs too.

From semester 4, students become eligible for placements. This also depends on their academic as well as extracurricular life. The companies and firms will be discussed in the next few months as the founding batch will be the first to witness this. The highest in SNUC's sister college, SSN, was above 1C and SNU hopes for the same. Above 90% of students got placements.

Pros and cons of SNU

Dislikes

The fees structure is very high and its not worth to pay so much just for a ug course as the placement will also not be that good

Internships Opportunities:

The internship in our college is after 2nd year so i am not sure about this yet as i will come to know abouth this but the end of the year But as our college is a part HCL i heard we have decent placements with normal salaries And they also have some paid internships too So i will give a 7 after considering all these

SNUC - A fresh and modern place to learn

Dislikes

The college also isn't able to provide it's students with the best internship opportunities yet. There are very few companies that have come and picked out very few students for their internships.
The placement cell is one major drawback. As the college is fairly new and hasn't been fully established yet the placement cell too isn't properly set so there's an uncertainty in that aspect.

Internships Opportunities:

My college doesn't provide very good opportunities for internships. Very few companies have come as it is a very new college. The only companies that have come are HCL and MotorQ. However, motorq took 3-4 students for internship for around 80k stipend and also offered a ppo to 2 of them for 1cr. This will be the first year for the college to establish a placement cell and for the first batch of my college to graduate.
