Tution fees is 300000,hostel fees is 78000 and in first year admission fees,cdc fees ,caution deposit will be 46,000.Mess fees and laundry fees will be separate.There is no management seats admissions are based on talent and who qualifies the exam will get offer letter and after interview you will be given admission.Fees is same for all as there is no management. Scholarships will be given on marks scored in SNUCEE exam,for first year and for remaining years youre marks in sem exams are considered.

FACTS ABOUT SNU CHENNAI

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fee structure for a third year btech student is 2.25 lakh per year. This amount has not increased for me in the past two years. Before our end semester exams we are supposed to pay examination fees which is usually 4200 rupees for engineering students. My seniors(engineering) also have the same feeling structure, but for the juniors they have increased the fees and it is 3 L per year. We also have Bsc and law students who have different fee structures because of their course structure. But it is worth paying the amount. Hostel fee structure also varies from the room you choice the least is 96000 per year and the maximum is 2.25L per year excluding the caution diposit . There are scholarships available too and it is based on merit . According to your scores every sem bybteh end of the year they will provide you with a scholarship.

Im currently at my 3rd year at Shiv Nadar University Chennai, Im paying Rs.3,00,000/-(per anum) which is the tuition fee and the admission fee is Rs.20,000/- which is one time (non-refundable), for every semester one gets to pay exam fees that varies from Rs.2800/- to 3400/- which depends on the course and stream enrolled, there is no category wise fee. There is also University Caution Deposit Rs.20,000/- that is refundable. My batchmate studies B.com and their tuition fees is Rs.2,50,000/- per anum and the rest all of the fee remains the same. Shiv Nadar University Chennai offers different scholarships, they are: 1. Merit Scholarship 2. Merit-cum-Means Scholarship 3. Walk-in-walk-out Scholarship 4. Sports Scholarship

The curriculum is one of the best and advanced. We are being taught all the basics and core subjects that are useful to us from the get go. This helps us focus on our major and gives us more time to excel at it.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fees in my college per annum for BTECH CSE is 3L per annum. For each batch, the fees differs and is increasing. For the previous 2 batches, the fees was 2.4L per annum. The admission fees is 20,000 which is non refundable. The caution deposit is 20,000. During the course there is an exam fees that is levied that is 1200 per course. The hostel fees is 1.4L per annum for AC shared room with 3 sharing and for non AC it is 75,000. If you don't stay in hostel and are a day scholar then bus fees is mandatory which is 71,000 and is increasing every year. The AC bill for an AC room has to be paid separately each month based on your usage. Which varies from 300-700. The college provides scholarship based on merit to the batch toppers and to the students that did well in the college entrance test.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The year wise course we are paying for btech is 300000.And this is same for every year... While for the other departments the course fee is a little less. Hostel fee is samefor every one. Coming to the registration fee it is 20000 it is one-time and not refundable. There is no lab fee as such. And the caution fee is also 20000 it is one-time refundable. And there is merit based scholarship in this college.

Fees and Financial Aid:

I am paying 300000 for college tution fee, caution fee is 10,000 and hostel we have to pay 75,000 for the rooms excluding mess fee. The mess i took requires us to pay 115 rupees daily. Before it was 100 per day. The college tution fee excludes examination fee and others. Lab records fee is 2000 per lab. My other friends also pay the same. Fee for AC rooms are 100000 excluding current bill.
