- The faculty was one of the college’s strongest assets—experienced, approachable, and well-versed in their subjects

Dislikes
- While Sydenham College has many strengths, there were also certain aspects I disliked. The most noticeable issue was the infrastructure, which feels outdated compared to modern commerce colleges.
- Classrooms, washrooms, and common areas often need renovation, and the limited campus space sometimes restricts extracurricular activities.
- I also felt that administrative processes—such as form submissions, fee payments, or document verification—were slow and lacked proper communication, which caused unnecessary inconvenience for students
Course Curriculum Overview:
One of the key aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the B.Com course at Sydenham College was its strong foundation in core commerce subjects such as Accounting, Economics, Business Law, and Finance. The structured progression from basic to advanced concepts, along with exposure to subjects like taxation and auditing, made the program particularly appealing for students aiming for careers in finance, CA, CS, or management.

- This college provides a wide range of courses and faculty. Events and Fest in this college are very informative. This college has a lot talented students in here who are excellent in fields and higher faculty are very humble to students and non staff
Dislikes
- The infrastructure but it is a heritage spot so it cant be blamed.
- The hygiene is not that good but i think they are working on it.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The aspect of power bi R programming C/C++ all these subjects make an important appearance in the IT world these are the much needed subjects you should know about this kept me hooked to this course. After every examination there is an event or course ability test to prepare you for real world problems.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The course was very relevant to me as i had been wanting to do it for many years and it taught me about commercial studies and mathematics the exams related to this course was very easy provided that you studied for it.

- Maharashtra Utsav is the fest of college and its the best thing of the college
- College building has an ancient look from outside and inside

- Some class don't have proper working fans
- The office staff is rude and arrogant to students sometimes
- Lift is only for staff not for students so students have to use the stares
Placement Experience:
The college has placement cell which take care of students placement and provide them company for jobs. The highest package was 4.5 lacs in 2015. The average package is 3.5 lacs. The students are working in TCS, phonepe as well as company's in foreign countries

The curriculum is according to the new syllabus there are many new subject introduced in the syllabus which are good as per learning perspective and many subjects like Marathi and Hindi are also added subjects like communications skills are also there to build good communication and basic subjects like commerce accountancy economy maths sir also there you have choice to select your own subjects

- Teachers are really attentive and they make sure that students understand everything and make sure that they are learning properly if not then they take extra lecture and if any students are having any issues they listened to there problem

- The canteen the canteen is not working and it's really not there

The course i am doing is decent not that much of things but as i was thinking of doing other courses on the side dnf due the attendance facilities I did it as i wanted to do a job with college and this college really helped me through it

- The library is a great place to study it is fully air condition and is a great place to study other than that there is Gymkhana which has different games like carrom chest table tennis etc the campus is not that big but still it is great then infrast
- There are different events as the college has more than 25 societies some of them are as follow mwm HSM co-operative society etc each society has the separate events like in jallosh etc. and eat society get a specific teacher in charge who leads them
- The infrastructure is not that good but still I see college comes in one of the oldest college in Mumbai as this college was built in 1913 and great economic like doctor Babasaheb Ambedkar has taught in this college and many more other brilliant econ

- The infrastructure is not that good but the college is improving it
- Coordination between the student and the Teachers through technology means is not that great

There are a lot of things which makes this college great one of them is great economics like Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar has taught in this college and this college has great placement as different companies like trident comes to recruit the employees.

The curriculum follows electives due to NEP which followed by the institution.
The curriculum is based on the real world applications and not only theoretical studies. All the topics and theories covered in the course is based on real world applications in industries and different companies.
