Course Curriculum Overview

5

The aspect of power bi R programming C/C++ all these subjects make an important appearance in the IT world these are the much needed subjects you should know about this kept me hooked to this course. After every examination there is an event or course ability test to prepare you for real world problems.

Internships Opportunities

5

Companies like wipro and data analyst role is offered as an assistant for paid intership with the stipend of 10k per month. Internships are provided within the college also for like hiring someone or assistant student admission commisioner, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

My total yearly fee for BSc. Data Science and Analytics is 85,807. As of my percentage in 12th was low so i had to take admission in this college in the last cap round by paying 10,000 to secure my seat. And as for my batchmates the fees is same as me. Paid internship has been alloted to many students in first year also scholarship is alos been given to many students and so far it is a worthy college the faculty here is also nice and kind.

Campus Life

5

Maharashtrotsav is held in february mostly this is the annual event in our college many colleges come to attend and perform the cultural reform of maharashtra and other states or India in short. Pragyarambh is a short event for freshers it is held after every 10th and 12th results for the newbies. The library is the most peaceful place in the college it is very huge consists of over 5000 books it is air conditioned. Extra curricular activities like dance, singing, badminton, basketball, football, etc we have campus for that and for dance singing or drawing ,etc we have auditorium which is also huge and very well suited for atleast 500 students at a time. There are social groups and clubs handled and created by students. For therapy, anti suicidal and many more.

Admission

I applied for forensic science in homi bhabha state university but i did not get the admission because of the entrance test so i took admission in elphinstone college choosing Data science. I was not imterested in studying Data Science but the teaching Faculty is so talented that they brought mu attention to the subjects made the subjects so easy and fun to learn. Admission process is easy. The eligibility for taking data science is 12th pass(CBSE/HSC) CET given or not given will be eligible too as per NEP these courses are new to the education system that is why. Cutoff for other courses are minimum 89% in 12th for FY admissions and minimum 90% in 10th for JC admissions.

Faculty

5

The faculty is very humble they are approachable they are very sweet spoken and not at all rude. About the exams, in exam times the faculty is strict and doesnt allow any mishap. The student faculty relation is very nice. The principal and the vice chancellor are very humble. Every year there are two semesters which contain two unit exams each and there are practical exams for every semester and internal exams. There are only 1 or 2 students who have failed but they cleared the KT examinations on the first attempt. The course curriculum is very relevant for this generation.

Night Life

5

Gym facility and cafeteria is provided in the college itself. Outside the college campus there are many options nearby and also opposite elphinstone college is a museum. Outside college all the places are heritage spots ,tourists spots. Marine drive, India gate, etc. and mumbai is all known for its night life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

like i was sure that i want a course that will give me experince about AIML with subjects like 3D design + Coding + Envoirmental studeis and all. and the course from the sandip actually have all these subjects in a single course thats why i choose this course. curriculam was good it was updated on time. the course helps me to land a internship with goverment cause i learn the basics of AI from this course. the ares of improvements should be the faculty members like they are horrible sometimes they dont even make the notes for the subjects they ask students to make notes and shared with other students. even one of the faculty member shared a playlist form youtube for a specific subject and ask us to take notes from it and prepare for exam not a single leccture he takes at that time. the frequency of the exam is also not that good cause the want us to prepare for the final semster exam which is of 6 months in just 3 months with all the paper works , projects , assignments etc etc.

• As I don't have maths so I have choosen this course for medical way for the future educational content and lab work. • They prepare us very good their skills and they approach in the lab practical is so good. • One one improvement as from mine is that they doesn't have some practical equipment and machinery for the working so I would like to have that to get that practical knowledge and for that they teach us theoretical for that kinds of practical. • Average the frequency and time for exam preperation is good

Course Curriculum Overview:

Strong academic legacy with expereinced faculties and balanced content- preparing you for future studies and entrance exams and olympiads. very much strict, i would say not needed. somehwere you may experience baised behaviour; but when you are focused on gaining knowledge then these things dont matter as its only a matter of three years. Relevance of course is there but for applying for further studies not for that much for job prospects, if you want atleast a decent salary job.

Also course offers wide variety of subjects so students can have exposure to different opportunities in the field. There are also field study visits so students can get their real world experience and exposure. The external exams are a little bit hectic as the take it into a streak. There is no gaps between the exams so it is a little hectic. Also some proffessors should provide study materials to students so it will be helpful .

I have rarely seen companies coming to our college for placement purposes for our course but I have seen companies coming for BCOM and BCA. I don't know about my course as I am currently in my second year. The percentage of students getting placements are veryess as my friend from third year said that out of 150 students only 10 students got placed this year which is very less compared to other colleges. My plans after getting the degree is if I got a job in any of the it company I will do it for experience and side by side I am planning to pursue my education in MSC CS
