Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum during 2019 was unde University of Mumbai but now college has gone autonomous. The college concludes exams, projects declaration on their own. The curriculum does not prepare you for overall real-world problems as it is too old.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Placement Experience

The placments for Bachlor's were not that great. They are more in the favour of Commerce applicants. The maximum package during my time was 400000 which is really less than the market. Also, the placments and the roles are really average.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are classified intoTution fees, caution fees, registeration fees, admission fees, development fees, lab fees and other mandatory. The biggest part here is computer fees and library fees. This fees are under 30000 total.

Campus Life

The overall college experience is really great. You get to enjoy the college life at the fullest. Multiple events happening at the time is very enjoyable. Different clubs and events happening everytime which makes it very enjoyable.

Admission

I choosed this college because of the proper infrastructure, crowd, and location. Also, this college differentiates with other colleges as it manages really well than the other. The college are has a good surroundings hangout spots and places.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio for Bachlor's are 120-2. That means 60 students to 1 teacher which very bad. The Science faculty operates Information Technology students as well as Computer Science students.

Night Life

The surrounding includes coffee places, bar, cafes, eat outs which is pretty good, Not to mention Nexus seawoods just after one station from nerul. The Chinese corner around the college is really tasty.

Well worth the journey!

Course Curriculum Overview:

Parricularly the modules which focused on animal science & botany, the curriculum was built to learn from basics to the advance level towards research area of biology which impressed me alot. The focus on animal biology, statistics, cell biology & genetics, ecology & wildlife conservation, Immunology & biotechnology leads a foundation to successfully enter the real-world and apply this knowledge for better cause of humans as well as animals. As the therotical teaching method can differ from on-hand experience on field there is a need to improve the course curriculum around this issue. The learning period was designed perfectly in-course of the prepaption time between each test and it wasn't difficult if we are well prepared.

In univeral college from sem 6 students become eligible for campus placements, Name of the companies offered in placement is TATA TCS, Infotech , and etc. Highest package from our college is 10 LPA and average is 3.2 lacs per annum. 20% percent of students successfully get placed in the companies from our placement team. After getting degree i will prefer to study more with MCA two years of course and side by side business & developing webs and applications as this is my passion and motive. i will prefer business Now i am interested in python programming language and JAVA after this React JS, Node JS and PL / SQL + MONGO DB for backend programming which has no user interactions.

The Campus Story : the lands of horror.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is an integrated MSc and the Institute is funded by the both university of Mumbai and the department of atomic energy. Student: teacher ratio is so much satisfactory, each professor knows each student. The professors are mainly visiting professors from IIT Bombay, barc, tifr etc institutes.

Chose this college over the others because it feels safer here. No other colleges provided dual degrees. The faculty is known good for its teaching. The cultural activities are also known for its good. Got confirmed seat in hinduja but sies is cleaner whereas hinduja isnt. Sanitation is a top priority for girls,so didnt choose hinduja. Got rejected by mithibai college due to applying too late. Eligiblity criteria for admission is 12th pass from any board whereas cutoffs can be around 50-75%varying on the courses....Read More

I choosed this college because It was near my home location and I had a good experience during my time at Bachelor's. The parameters with comparison to other colleges are better infrastructure, good geographical advantages. The admission process was to apply to Mumbai University and then to add college name in the apply list. I just applied for one college and I knew I will have it because of in house advantage.
