Course Curriculum Overview
My course curriculum was pretty average. There were subjects which were really interesting but also there were subject which we do not like. Some subjects were mandatory which were of no use. The only suggestion would be give students option to add or delete subject.
Internships Opportunities
There is not internsip program provided by college. You have to find the internship by yourself. They can only allow to free attendance during your time of internship. There's yearly project which you have to execute with the help of teachers.
Placement Experience
The placements in this college are not so great. They really want master's graduate to get BPO's job. But not all of them. There were some good placement opportunities which wou;d help students grow. After 3rd Sem students are eligible for exam this is only applicable for masters graduate. for Bachelor's it is during 5th SEM. Deloitte, Infoysis, TCS,Reliance and many others used to get place for this role. The criteria was to be clear of all semesters with first class passing CGPA or percentage.
Fees and Financial Aid
I completed my master's in Information technology this year, I had a in house access as I completed my Bachelor's from the same college. My fees for the first year of college was 49,000. We had different amenities like library, gym khana, computer lab. The distribution of this fees structure involves Tution fee, caution fees, registeration fees, admission fees, development fees, lab fees the most portion of this fees was for computer laboratory fees. The fees of other courses of Master's is around 25000/- to 40000 including all charges. Our college has different events, celebrations and organisations. One of the NGO's in college is ROTARACT CLUB OF SIES NERUL(RCSIES). It is a well renowned organisation and it helps to improve students professionally and socially.
Campus Life
The overall experience of this college was really good ,I had a good experience been here with my all friends. SIESONS is one of the biggest event in the college. It includes big celebrities and influencers. Every streams had there own events.
Admission
I choosed this college because It was near my home location and I had a good experience during my time at Bachelor's. The parameters with comparison to other colleges are better infrastructure, good geographical advantages. The admission process was to apply to Mumbai University and then to add college name in the apply list. I just applied for one college and I knew I will have it because of in house advantage. I did not got any rejections as I applied for one college only. The aligiblity of Master's admission is Good marks in Bachlor's and specifically in mathematics.
Faculty
The faculty to the student ratio for Master's are 20 to 1. But, it is just for master's. for Bachelor's it goes upto 100 to 2.,which is very bad. The faculty I like is BMM teachers and staff. They are we friendly and supportive. The faculty I didn't like was commerce. They just feel very latargic. The master's exams are two semester per year. That is 4 semesters for 2 years.
Interview Experience
There were no Interview or test metion. The only proces of getting into colleges were based on how much marks you have scored during the time of your 12th Grade and specially for Information technology course it must be for mathematics.
Night Life
There are various cafes. restaurents. bar. One of them is Pritvish, Gupta sandwich and many more. There also a Veg chinese place around which makes really good option to consider. Not to mention, there's a aunty who sells Vada pav after 5 pm near Shiv sena office which is 5-10 minutes walking distance from college.
