VIT Bhopal Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I am currently 2nd-year student so I don't know enough about placement and all because we haven't gone to college till now because of the pandemic situation but through the sources which i have seen,I know that placements are quite very good on our college

VIT has very good reviews and a good placement opportunities. I researched a lot and got to know that it has 100% doctoral faculty. It has ffcs i.e fully flexible credit system which allows you to select your credit for a particular semester, students have the option to choose their faculty and time slots as per their convience. Admission process is usually based on vit entrance exam (VITEEE) It also considered JEE entrance marks for admission in 2020 due to pandemic situation. The admission process was quite simple.

From the 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Various tech giants such as Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, Dell technologies, HP technologies, Cognizant, Accenture etc. Visited the college for campus placement, around 1700 students were placed from campus in the computer science department, others opted for higher studies. The highest package is given in our university to date is 45 lacs per annum domestically buy Microsoft company and 60 lacs per annum internationally from Cognizant company. The average package range lies between 6 to 7 lacs per annum. Around 85% of students get placed in good companies and 15% opt for higher studies. I will sit in the campus placement but also I will side by side prepare for my master's degree after getting the degree.

from 7th semester anyone fulfilling the eligibilty for placement drive is eligible for campus placement drives. There are around 200 companies that visit campus regularly and avg package offered is 4.5lakh and the highest till now is 40lakh but that totally depends on person to person. major companies that visit campus are Cognizant, Accenture, Reliance industries, Vodaphone, Zomato, Pinnacle, Shell, Wipro, Adobe, Ultratech cement etc.

Students are eligible for placements from the 6th Semester, VIT Bhopal was opened in 2017 and the first batch is still to be placed, but many big MNC have visited the campus of VIT Bhopal for recruitments like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, etc are the main recruiters, Placement is done via VIT Vellore for all campus of VIT University, the average package must be between 5-6 Lakhs per annum & good ratio of students are expected to be placed by 2021 ie first batch.

VIT Bhopal follows the FFCS (Fully flexible credit system) where if you finish the required amount of credits, you are eligible to complete your studies. The average package of the year before was around 9 LPA.

The college was established in 2017 so perhaps for many courses, 2021 will be the 1st year witnessing placements but yes the students did their internships in 3rd year. The students who opted for 3-year degree courses or 2-year degrees courses like BBA or MCA etc respectively got placed with an average salary of Rs 5 lakh per annum. The highest was 10 lakh per annum, which was offered to 3 to 4 students. Nearly 95% of the students got placed. A huge number of companies recruited the students of VIT Bhopal like Infosys, virtusa, Federal Bank, Cognizant, Byju's etc. VIT has a centralized placement cell so all four campus students give their placements together. My plan is also to get a high paying job via this college or through off-campus placements. I am trying to gain as many relevant skills as possible and trying to be excellent at them.

VIT guarantees 100% placement for all students from dream to super dream offers many recruiters visit VIT Bhopal for placements. Every year many companies visit our campus. The highest package was 20 lakhs.

I am in the first year now, but there are good placements in our college. VIT Bhopal has a dedicated placement centre and a training centre for helping students. From the third year, one class is organised for placement interviews and all other things to get good placements and good salary packages.

From 3rd year we can seek employment opportunities on campus. Many big companies like Infosys, Amazon and Microsoft visit the college for placements. As the Bhopal campus is still very new, for our placements we will have to go to the Vellore campus. And the placement record in the Vellore campus is very good.
