Good college but has some cons also.

Likes

I like my college as it has experienced and qualified faculty, all the faculties here are IIT graduates.
The modern curriculum in our college is just awesome. Here they start preparing us for industry level right from the 1st semester.
My college has labs of almost every technology, be it from robotics lab to biotechnology lab. Also it has 4 libraries and 1 big reading room. Also it has coding studio, english studio etc providing needed environment.

Dislikes

Placements here are not up to that mark in the last year, no doubt it may be due to reccession.
AC are not there in the classrooms, only libraries, reading rooms have it.
I think fees here is a bit more, especially when you take admission in higher categories.

Internships Opportunities:

In our college it is mandatory for every student to do internship in 3rd year, it has some credits which later on gets added in CGPA. College also helps students in getting internships. They start preparing students from the 1st year acording to the industry level standards.

My overall experience at vit bhopal has been a mixed bag, some genuinely good aspects and some areas that definitely need improvement.
infrastructure is modern and impressive still under development
wifi connection is available across the campus, freedom to learn

Dislikes

Mess food is quitly dissappointing if you're not south indian. Some faculty only teaches through ppt no propor explanations
placement needs to be improved like vit vellore yet it is centralised but still
campus life is boring within the farm areas 300 acres of lush green campus they claim but actually nothing to explore

Placement Experience:

The placements at VIT BHOPAL are steadily improving each year and because of the recession the placement is down for 2 years. as iits are also not having good placements recors these years.students become eligible for campus placements from the beginning of the 7th sem. however the ppt pre placemnt training and sessions starts as early as possible . aptitute tests, coding rounds several things. companies visiting campus TCS WIPRO COGNIZENT INFOSYS CAPGEMINI HCL HEXAWARE ZS ASSOCIATES IBM MINDTREE AMAZON GOOGLE FLIPKART BIGBASKET HIGHEST PLACEMENT DATA IS 59LPA AVERAGE IS 9LPA CSE STUDENTS MECHANICAL AND CIVIL IS LSIGHTLY LOW

Pros and Cons of VIT Bhopal University

On the basis of faculties , they are all well trained and educated , and almost all teacher behaves very nice to all .
In terms of enjoyment , there are many fest organize . And all fests are energetic whether it was their annual fest or summer fest or winter fest or any particular event of individual club .

Dislikes

Very poor management, so many rules and regulations.
according to mess charge, meal is not worth it.
campus life is like zero. Means that, their is nothing to see any special thing.

Internships Opportunities:

Internship opportunities available in my collage. According to seriors their individual experiance was good. Many companies enrolled students , like cognizent , intel, microsoft , Adope , havells , JP morgan , etc.

classroom are good like they are not too big

i did not find any meaningful study here
also the college is under development and one more thing i did not either liked their classes system
have to travel a lot because campus is big in area but it is very less developed

i did not any thing much about placements in my college but the thing i know is that at present time all students are getting difficuties to be get placed in companies don't matter what is the college so just learn everything whatever u can do internships not be depended too much on placements of college

Exploring college in First Year

Likes

The good thing about college is that here is so much diversity, You can interact with students from all over India. This will help in your communications skills.
Campus is too big and good. It is about in 300 acres. So You will not bore that much .
There is always any event going on in college so it gives opportunities to learn some new things.

Dislikes

The college is too away from the city. College is 70 km away from Bhopal and 120 km away from Indore. So you have to travel a lot to reach college.
Due to its geography it is too hot in summers .
Sports Infrastructure is not much developed , It is mostly under consutruction.

Internships Opportunities:

I have heard from the seniors that collge help in Internships opportunities. Companies like google, ebay, cognizant, infosys, tcs provide internship. They offer the role for software engineer, web development, data analyst.

A ride to my college-VIT Bhopal

Likes

The growth and development is unreal. New buildings and many things are going up too fast.
We can choose the teacher and timings provided by ourselves and can make our time table by our own.
Most of the teachers are supportive and behaves well.

Dislikes

More favour to south Indians than any other students.
Security and rules for girls are bit too much.
The walking distance from boys hostels to Academic block is around 1.5+ km.

Likes

The University is great in terms of academics
Faculties are great and helpful. All of them are Doctoral professor
FFCS one of the best system in this college where you can choose your own teacher

Dislikes

The hostel are okay and food is average.
Water facilities are below average and nothing special
The rules here are very strict which may interrupt your college life

Internships Opportunities:

1) Industrial experimental learning is an program where all the students learn from the companies directly 2)Some of the students have made there way to competition like GSOC etc. 3) Companies like Amazon, microsoft , Adobe etc have provided students with internship opportunities

VIT Bhopal: A decent college for your needs

Likes

Premium Blocks are really good, infrastructure is really good and the overall housekeeping is excellent
Mess of premium blocks is really good, theyre clean, they have good menu and they offer tasty and delicious food.
The academic blocks, lab complex and the Architecture blocks are amazing they have really good infrastructure

Dislikes

Block 1: Infrastructure is really bad, the toilet doors are broken the repairing is late
Block 1: The mess is bad, food is really bad and it isnt tasty, unhygeneic mess
The water quality, bathrooms and washrooms in block 1 are beyond acceptable

Placement Experience:

after the completion of third year students become eligible for campus placements companies which visit are infosys cisco tata amazon and many more highest package for 2024 was 52 lpa and the average package is 11 LPA 60-70% students gget placed after my degree i plan to get a solid 9-5 job earning a decent living of my life and serving my parents

I liked the campus evening sunsets which were purple and hazy
The functions and fest held are nice too

Dislikes

Managment is way too disturbing and is not very responsive
There is a water shortage in almost every summer
