Course Description

How to Apply for SKUAST-J CET?

Visit the official website of the college.
Click on the “SKUAST-J Common Entrance Test (CET)-2020” link and fill the form carefully with valid credentials.
In the first part, fill in all the personal details cautiously and in the second part, fill in your educational details. Make sure the name and other details are filled in BLOCK LETTERS.
In the next step, add your photograph and signature as required.
Verify all the details and finally, submit the form.
The application fee of INR 1800 is now to be paid via Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking.
Take print out of the confirmation page(s) of the online application format and preserve it for future reference.
The Admit Card can be downloaded from the University website.

Counselling Process

The candidates must come for counseling along with all documents in original, a set of attested copies of all documents, the admit card issued by SKUAST-J and a counselling fee of INR 1000 (nonrefundable). The documents include:

Permanent resident/domicile certificate
Date of birth certificate (Matriculation certificate)
Marks certificate of qualifying examination
Category certificate, if applicable

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate should have passed Bachelor’s degree in the respective/related subjects
6.00/10.00 or equivalent OGPA/equivalent percentage(60%) of marks at Bachelor’s degree for General category candidates.
5.50/10.00 or equivalent OGPA/equivalent percentage(55%) of marks at Bachelor’s degree for Reserved categories.

Candidates should not be less than 19 years of age as of December 31.
Final year students of the qualifying examinations are also eligible to apply for admissions to the college.
The selection of the candidates is based on the score of the applicant in the Common Entrance Test conducted by SKUAST, Jammu, or ICAR for admission against free seats and self-financing seats(State Domicile).
