Admissions at Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University are both merit and entrance-based. A student who qualifies the selection procedure gets an admission. The selection procedure for various courses is as follows:

At PJTSAU the college or university atmosphere is quite vibrant and attractive.More fresh air that we can breath with our whole heart is available at this campus or university amongst all the cities in Hyderabad. More pleasant atmosphere is available
The faculty and their expertise where they excel in the research related activities and the teaching methods are quite excellent and gaining practical knowledge and learning the things beyond the walls of classrooms is more flexible in this universit
I personally enjoyed in the campus with quality education and engaging in all the activities and being a social butterfly which prioritize your opportunities and there are more flexible opportunities where we can explore through state level etc

Dislikes

The campus placements are not that good at this campus because after completing just undergraduation there are no flexible opportunities in the agriculture sector where we have to pursue higher education like masters and doctoral degrees to get place
The quality of infrastructure is not that good more funds are required to develop the infrastructure around the university and tresspassers should not be allowed in to the campus.more development should be needed regarding infrastructure and basic at

The marking system is divided into Theory which consists of 60 % and practical 40% attendence and class room participation and actively involving in the extra curricular activities carry a bonus marks . Exams range from moderate to challenging depending on course subject with high practical component like plant pathology and entomology etc

Project opportunities provided by the college

Coramnadel, syngenta Bayer, khethari agritech,Adama, godrej agrovet,aghub, safe harvest kapil agro farms etch most of the projects are related to advancements in agriculture sector and also feasibility study of villages and their progression.

Companies recruiting from the campus, and highest package being offered

Placements are not as expected it is about only 50 percentage.we ourselves have to search for internships and placements for some extent.final semester students are eligible for campus placements.companies like coromandel, godrej agrovet, Bayer , syngenta cropwings, khethari agritech,kapil agro farms etc are the companies which provide placements to the students 40 percentage of the students got placed.highest package is about 6 lakhs per annum

Fees of the course per year

At professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agriculture University I have paid about 3 lakhs of fees for my complete graduation but meanwhile I have recieved scholarship as a part of my merit basis and also reservation.Tution fees 10,600 . Academic regulations and course catalogue 2000 rs . Registration fees 1800 rs . Library fees 800rs.Laboratory fees 3025rs.medical fees 170rs.Intercollege / University sports or games fees 800 rs.All the above mentioned fees comes under University fees and non university fees is about 8550 rs which includes library deposit 2500, laboratory deposit 2500, examination fees 1750, student activities 550, student health care centres 375,sports and games fees 725rs, identify card 150rs .Ts epass will provide scholarships to the students based on their category.

Students view on campus life

The events like freshers, college day , farewell and intercollege sports meet where students across different sub campus under this university participate in the sports and cultural activities.The range and accessibility of books in the library is more extensive range .sports like cricket, volleyball, basketball,chess carroms etc and large sports complex is present inside the premises of the college

Facilities provided in the college hostel

Single person can avail single room in pg and phd and during ug 4 persons per room and the quality of menu is quite excellent because it is totally student run mess .PG are available near the university.

Faculty to student ratio is generally balanced and it is about 1:5 with fostering support and learning environment and faculty members are approachable and encourage students in all aspects and guide them in every possible way both personally and academically and also regarding in building their careers by involving in various projects and internships etc. Dr.S.Srinivas Naik he is known for interactive teaching and in depth knowledge of ENTOMOLOGY subject and his ability to link concepts with theoritical as well as practical is more knowledge giving aspect. Dr.N. Mahesh expert in field of Agronomy which is considered as major subject in Agriculture he provides valuable insights in simplest way possible. The curriculum is designed to allign with modern agricultural advancements,covering topics like precision farming and agribusiness management and most importantly sustainable agriculture The academic year typically consists of two semester and each semester consists of 10 subjects along with mid term exams , practical exams and final theory exams. Assignment,field works, reports ,herbarium and viva voce are also part of our academic curriculum The

Girls are strictly prohibited to walk around the campus during night time .gyms cafeteria and library are present inside the campus premises for girls hotel timings is upto 6pm inthe evening and no restriction for boys

I tried ANGRA university for admission but I did not able to get seat in ANGRAU. then I choosen PJTSAU over other colleges because it was accredited by ICAR . I got rejected when I applied to ANGRAU because my rank was not that much good. By writing EAMCET (eligibility inter) and AGRICET(eligibility diploma in agriculture) are entrance exams for admission in our university.

The environment is so good , which is the main thing you need for a good concentration. Homely hostel food.

Admission:

I also applied for TSRJC and MJPTBCWREIS colleges for intermideate MPC admissions along with the PJTSAU agri polytechnic. I got the seats from the colleges that I had applied for, but I rejected them to get admission in the agri polytechnic clg palem . My ambission towards agriculture made me to opt. this decision. The admission process for getting into PJTSAU Agricultural Polytechnic, palem is to qualify the POLY-CET entrance test. The cutoff is based on the competition and intrest of the students towards agriculture course.

Admission to the BSc agriculture based on the score expected in the TS EAMCET. You must have passed in 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English with a minimum of 50% marks from Telangana State or any other examination recognized as equivalent.

For UG courses, the candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the TS EAMCET, conducted annually by the Department of Higher Education of the Government of Telangana. Selection to PG & Ph.D. programs will be done on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance test conducted by ICAR on an India basis.

Yes, PJTSAU Diploma in Agriculture fee is low as compared to other institutes. The first and second-year fees are INR 8,560 and INR 6,460 respectively.

Unfortunately, admission to B.Sc Agriculture is done based on TS EAMCET scores only and if not qualified for the same, you can apply for next session of 2024.

The total fee structure for B.Sc Agriculture is INR 1,30,000 for 4 years and you need to have passed 12^th with 45% and then qualified for TS EAMCET to get admission.
