Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) offers UG, PG & Ph.D. degree programs under various faculties such as Agriculture, Seed Technology, Agricultural Engineering and Home Science at its main campus (Rajendranagar) & constituent colleges located in Telangana.
The minimum eligibility for UG admission at PJTSAU is the candidate should have passed 10+2 examination from a recognized board. For admission to PG courses, a candidate must possess Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university. Candidates should submit the application forms along with the required fee in the form of Demand Draft (DD).

PJTSAU Telangana B.Tech & B.Sc Admission 2024
The university offers B.Tech and B.Sc course in various specializations at the undergraduate level. Admission to all UG courses (except B.Sc. Home Science) is based on the performance in state-level common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) conducted by Telangana State Council of Higher Education.
University also conducts AGRIENGGCET for B.Tech Agriculture Engineering and AGRICET for B.Sc in Agriculture for the admission of diploma holders in respective courses.

Key Points:
- The upper age limit (22 years) is relaxed in certain situations. It is 25 years for SC/ST candidates and 27 years for students with physical disabilities.
- In the case of a tie in ranks obtained by two or more candidates in the EAMCET, the marks secured in the optional subjects of the qualifying examination will be taken into consideration.
- In the case of a further tie, the age of the candidate will be taken into consideration.
- The eligible candidates will be required to attend the counseling process depending on their individual merit as determined by the rank obtained in the TS-EAMCET.
- 40% of the seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the families of Agriculturists (Farmers) owning not less than 3 acres of land either in the name of the parents or in the name of the student and who have studied for a minimum of 4 years in schools located in the Non-Municipal areas
- Reservation of seats for Women: In each course, 33% of the seats will be reserved in favour of women students from each category.
PJTSAU Telangana M.Tech & M.Sc Admission 2024
PJTSAU offers multiple postgraduate courses such as M.Tech, MBA and M.Sc in several disciplines. For admission to PG courses offered by the university, candidates should have passed the relevant Bachelors Degree examination. Only the candidates who have appeared for ICAR entrance examination are eligible for admission to PJTSAU. The upper age limit to apply for the course is 40 years as on July 1 of the year of admission.
Selection of candidates for M.Sc/ M.Tech shall be done on the basis of their previous academic record at Under Graduate level (30% weightage) and performance in the entrance test (70% weightage) conducted by ICAR through AIEEA PG. In case of MBA Agri-Business Management, the selection shall be based on the performance in entrance test, conducted by ICAR through AIEEA PG.
In the case of MBA (Agri. Business Management) course, 10% seats are reserved for NRIs / Industry Sponsored Candidates.

PJTSAU Telangana Ph.D Admission 2024
PJTSAU offers Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in various specializations at the research level. Selection of candidates to Ph.D is done on the basis of score obtained by a candidate in the entrance test conducted by ICAR. For admission to Ph.d course, the candidate should have completed Master of Science or an equivalent examination in Agriculture or Home Science or Agricultural Engineering as the case may be, in the concerned field of specialisation with atleast 50% marks in the aggregate.
The selection shall be based on the previous academic record at post graduate/under graduate level and performance test conducted by ICAR through AICE-JRF/SRF(PGS) and the weightage would be in the ratio of 60:30:10 (60% Entrance Marks, 30% M.Sc Marks and 10% B.Sc. Marks).

PJTSAU Telangana Application Process 2024
For PG, Ph.D courses:
- Candidates are required to visit the website and fill the OTR (onetime registration) application.
- The applicant should furnish all the details while filling the Online Application Form. While filling the online application form, the applicant is advised to save the application in draft form until final submission.
- Upon successful submission, an application number will be generated which can also be used for future correspondence.
- The scanned passport size (3.5 cm x 4.5 cm) photograph of the applicant should be in JPEG format of and not exceed 1 MB file size.
- The applicant’s signature should be scanned in JPEG format of [3.5 cm x1.5 cm] and not exceed 1 MB file size.
- The documents to be uploaded should be scanned in png/jpg/jpeg only. The size of the scanned documents to be uploaded should not exceed 1MB.
- For OC/BC applicants, the fee is INR 1600 and for SC/ST candidates, the fee is INR 850.
- Fee can be submitted through Debit Card /Credit Card (Visa / Master Card)/NET banking/ Wallet.
- Upon successful submission and payment, the applicant will be able to print the application form. The applicant should enable “background graphics” in print option before taking a print of the uploaded application form.

Note: For admission into Ph.D. programmes, the candidates should have submitted the M.Sc. level thesis on or before the last date prescribed for the receipt of applications and must complete the thesis final viva voce examination successfully as on the date of registration in case of selected candidates.
Copies of the following documents shall be enclosed along with the application:

- Memoranda of marks (all years) obtained at the qualifying (B.Sc. level) examination or transcript.
- Provisional/degree certificate of the qualifying examination.
- Study certificates from Heads of recognised educational institutions from VI class onwards. (Those who appeared for any examination by private study should enclose residence certificate.)
- Social Status Certificates issued by the competent authority, in case of candidates belonging to BC / SC/ STs. The admission given under this quota shall be provisional till the genuineness of the social status claim of the candidate is certified by the respective Directorate of the Government.
- Certificate regarding achievements at B.Sc. level in NCC / NSS / Sports / Games / Cultural / Literary activities at Inter National / Inter State / Inter University level, if applicable.
- Date of birth certificate
- Certificate towards physically disabled, if any
- Residential (Latest certificate issued by the Telangana Government), Certificate.
- Aadhaar Card or 28 digit Aadhaar Enrolment ID proof or Passport or Ration card or Bank Passbook or any other valid Govt. Identity proof
- Conduct certificate for the head of the institute from the last attended.

My decision to study agriculture since my childhood and it may impress the skills and can get the job easily and still i didn't get any rejection from other college cutoffs marks are there based on the previous years marks so they can understand easily

To get seat in the Professor Jayashankar Telangana state Agricultural University we have to write the state entrance test which is EAMCET. I got the rank of 2900 in the EAMCET during my admission. The competition heavy to get the seat in the main campus of PJTSAU.The admission process is offline. We can know the remained seats of particular reservation during the admission process on the monitor

- I liked the ambience of the university when i saw it at the first time.The university is huge and it has all the facilities and resources nearby.
- It has both state and central institutes for research purposes and students are taken to these institutes and are taught about the experiments being conducted

- The college schedule is hectic and students will have classes from 9 to 5
- Attendance of 75% is another thing that i disliked and there’s no relaxation of attendance

After completion of 12th we have to write an exam called EAMCET and it is digital exam where you have to go the exam centre and have to write your exam in the computer.MCQ type questions are asked. You have to get a cutoff of 4000 rank if you are from general caste but the sc/st or other reservation need 8000-9000 rank You have to apply for the registration in the official webiste of PJTSAU and they'll announce the counselling dates and subsequently they'll allot a seat if the cutoff is met. The admission process is offline which helps us a lot so that we wont have a lot of doubts

My university has basic minimum facilities and in my college, there is the accreditation of ICAR. The NCC also has been there in our university. There are 3 ways to get admission into the university. They are(AGRICET, EAMCET, ICAR). And the colleges are located at the edge of the cities which are beautiful to see. And practical experiences will be good

The entrance exam for the college is emcet Agricet and icar examinations and I came thriugh the emcet entrance the cutoff for the Rajendra nagar pjtsau is 3k - 4k rank but another phtsau college usually you should get below 8k rank under reservation general you should get below 5k rank

I wrote an entrance exam named ts emcet conducted by Telangana state. pjtsau online application is available. My rank was 5301 then I choose agriculture then the counselling will be held at pjtsau university Rajendranagar. seats will be allowed according to rank wise. there are some seats under the farmer quota. then I joined by paying 38000 to confirm my seat after counselling.
