26 Aug, 2025 GATE 2026 registration date has been revised. Candidates can now apply online @gate2026.iitg.ac.in from Aug 28, 2025 to Sep 28, 2025 (without a late fee). Further, GATE 2026 Exam will be conducted on Feb 7, 8, 14 & 15, 2026. Check the latest updates here.

- Round 5 CCMT Cutoff for M.Tech is 367 for the General Category.
BTech is the most popular program offered at NIT Mizoram. To apply for the BTech program candidates need to appear JEE Main exam followed by JoSAA counselling. For 2025, NIT Mizoram JEE Main cutoff for the general category was ranged between 20,801 - 51,888. The registration process for the JEE Main commenced in last week of october for the first round and first week of february for second round.
A Part from JosAA counselling, NIT’s also accepts counselling of Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) and Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA). Candidates who are Overseas Citizen of India/ Person of Indian Origin (OCI/PIO) or Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) are eligible for both.
NIT Mizoram also offers M.Tech and PhD programs. For admission to the M.Tech program is through the GATE exam, followed by CCMT Counselling. For 2025, NIT Mizoram GATE cutoff rank for the general category is ranging from 380 - 483, while for admission to PhD program is through an Entrance test/ Interview conducted by the institute.

Ques. What is the admission process for the BTech program at NIT Mizoram?
Ans. The admission process for the BTech program at NIT Mizoram candidate must have completed 10+2 with 75% and must have score in JEE Main followed by JoSAA Counselling.
Ques. Can I get direct admission to NIT Mizoram?
Ans. NIT Mizoram does not offer direct admission to students in any of its programs. The admissions are strictly based on national-level entrance tests like JEE Main for B.Tech and GATE for M.Tech. The college conducts a written test and personal interview for admission to the Ph.D. program.
Ques. What is the cutoff rank of the BTech program for home state and other state at NIT Mizoram?
