LIFE AT NIT MIZORAM

Fees and Financial Aid:

I pay around 120000 per annum which includes all kind of fees. To bisect separately tuition fees is around 20833, registration fees is 200, library deposite is 2000,library fees is 500,student activity fees is 1000, laboratory fee is 500,student aid fund is 250 and medical aid fund is 300, development fees is 1500, examination fees is 600. Only tuition fees vary according to category remaining fees remains same, for ST, SC and candidates whose family income is below 1lakh tuition is 0. And candidates whose family income is between 1lakh to 5lakhs tuition fees 20833 whereas candidate above 5lakhs family income their tuition fees is 62500. ST, SC and OBC whose family income is below 1lakh students gets scholarship of amount between 80000 to 120000 under National fellowship and scholarship for higher education for ST students, Center sector scholarship of Top class education for SC students and National fellowship for OBC students

NIT MIZORAM

The course fees for general candidates is Rs 72,000 and for those whose annual income is more than Rs 5 lakh. Tuition fees are completely waived for SC/ST/PWD students. OBC and General category people whose annual income is between Rs 5 lakh and Rs 1 lakh have to pay only 1/3 of the tuition fees. Tuition fees are completely waived for those whose annual income is less than Rs 1 lakh. We have a very famous scholarship here and that is NSP. Anyone can apply for it and can avail benefits of up to 1 lakh

See the fees structure for general students is more than 2 lakh per year but as I'm from ews category having annual family income less than 1 lakh so I got tution fees waiver that's why I just have to pay for hostel and mess and some extra charges which becomes 1 lakh overall per year

All about NIT MIZORAM

There are different fre structure accourding to the category of student. If student is general,obc annual income more than 5 lacs then he have to pay 75000 rupees academic fee per semester and if their income lies between 1 to 5 lac then they have to pay 1/3rd of the total academic fee and if they are below 1 lac then they dont have to pay academic fee. Hostel and mess fee is same for all the students.

Overall good to consider college for low rank in jee main.

The fee for obc and general students who have income above 5 lakhs pay 62500 tuition fee per semester. If income is between 1 and 5 lakhs it becomes one third and below one lakhs and for sc and st it is zero. Other than this total 12500 is paid by all for registration, library, exam,labs,etc.

There is no campus for the National Institute of Technology Mizoram but when iam joined here I didn't know that fact. The fee is based on the income of father and i am below 1 lakh I pay nearly 40000 for a semester.

Natioanal Institute of technology mizoram

As I am below 1lakh category my fees is reduced but for above 5 lakh they have to pay full fee that is 1lakh30k Academic wise it is quite ok and there are many scolarships for St and sc category mainly For obc and general scholarship opportunities are less Tution fee is increasing every year
