Likes

Faculty in cvasc is nice .good teaching approach by respective professors.
Most of the scholarships are available from our university to students as national scholarships provided from university which is a good helpful thing to us.
Interactive among each other in the campus is genuinely nice , we have annual fests like, " colosseum - the fun fest" which are fun to attend , nice sport arenas with average competitions.

Dislikes

There are many events always going on in this college but the quality of them is not so nice.
Hostel room condition os very poor, no proper cleaning of washrooms and toilets.
Rules are very strict which is good but i dislike it

Likes

Faculty was good here . As you can easily ask your doubt and academic related problems
Stadium facilities was also very good here
Library and ccf facilities. is also good

Dislikes

Here student have courses of other colleges like CBSH

Placement Experience:

After passing 3rd year student get eligible for campus placement. Campus placement offers min 3lakh-5lakh but also increases if you apply for good company . Most of the students opt for higher education like mtech or MBA after btech from here.

College of Technology, pantnagar a summary

Likes

Campus, as I said campus is huge, you will enjoy roaming with your friends
Hostel Life, hostel is the best part of pantnagar
Faculty, all the teachers are very nice and humble

Dislikes

Weather, in summers it is too hot and in winters it is too cold
After a certain time you will get board, if you do not have good friends
Food, it is ok but can be good, something

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement , TATA L&T visits and avarage package in mechanical is 6 lakhs per annum and highest goes up to 10 to 12 lakhs, arround 60 persent of students get placed.

GBPUAT, the best technical institute in uttarakhand after IIT roorkee

Likes

Campus is a big thumbs up as it is huge. Campus area is about 12000 acres
Aluminium network is also one of the best thing about her University
Course curriculum is also very up to date which is a good thing

Dislikes

Altho overall campus is a good go but some buildings are very old
There should be more freedom given to the students staying in hostels specially for girls

Course Curriculum Overview:

One of the main reason why I choose this course in my college is that my college gives a better placement ratio for this branch in Engineering. Our college contains a huge number of hitech labs it has all kind of Technology which are up to date and gives you the best knowledge and prepares you for the real word application. Attendance is 85% required in our college which is kind of hectic for the students who are preparing for government exams. In each semester there are two pre final exams and one final exam. The overall percentage which is required for passing the course or semester is 50% that means you have to get 50% in each semester in each course to pass the subject and go to the next semester.

College of technology, a life changer

Likes

First thing that i like is the campus of the college.
The curriculum is so good. Course is decided into semesters. And there is less load on you.
Hostel and sports facilities are good. Food is quite nice.

Dislikes

This college is far from city, which makes life enclosed.
Lots of restrictions there. You can't go out of the gate with permission.

Placement Experience:

Placements are average at this college. you need to complete at least your 6th semester to go for placements. Wipro, tcs these companies provide placements here. The average package is almost 8L per year. The highest packages goes off-campus. About 20L.

Best college for education but not to explore .

Likes

Faculty members such supportive to students.
Clubs and bureaus run by university for students.
Educational departments are such great places for students to explore their learning.

Dislikes

The availability of market nearby is not so great.
No vehicles are allowed for students at UG level.
No nearby temples are there to worship .

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course electrical branch btech gives us ways to bright our future . Curriculum prepares us for a real world environment which we would face in future. Yes some mighty improvements must be needed in this field as per teaching methods. Exams are as simple as that we could study from our given courses and subjects properly.

Likes

Hostel life of this college is quite good as there is all facilities you require for a living and friends which you get here are the best.
Nature and green environment is very nice and peaceful here.
Sports and gym facility here is quite good and you should definitely take advantage of it.

Dislikes

Exam pressure here is high and to maintain cgpa here is quite hard.
Faculty of this college is not that much supportive but there some as exception are always there.
Junior senior relation in this college is not that such good here it needs to improve here.

Placement Experience:

The placements are quite low here and the annual packages are also not that much impressive here but you can go for some good companies that visit here if you can manage to impress them. The highest package of this college is 18 lakhs in cs branch and 10 lakhs in mechanical while the average package is 6 or 7 lakhs. Around 75%Students get placed here.

Library and other studing facilities are good
Professors and staff are helpful in terms of learning
Good environment and greenary everywhere

Dislikes

Too much restrictions in hostel specially for girls
Not much network and placement is also moderate
Exposure and communication to other colleges is less
