Likes

Faculty in cvasc is nice .good teaching approach by respective professors.
Most of the scholarships are available from our university to students as national scholarships provided from university which is a good helpful thing to us.
Interactive among each other in the campus is genuinely nice , we have annual fests like, " colosseum - the fun fest" which are fun to attend , nice sport arenas with average competitions.

Dislikes

There are many events always going on in this college but the quality of them is not so nice.
Hostel room condition os very poor, no proper cleaning of washrooms and toilets.
Rules are very strict which is good but i dislike it

Atmosphere of the university is really good

Dislikes

The academics is really tough and u have to study by your own majorly

Placement Experience:

The placements occours every year ..the placement occours and we get a temporary government job at first but after experience u'll get a permanent job for sure which gors from 40000 initial to 80000 after experience

College of technology pantnagar review

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester the students are eligible for the placements. All the branches are going for the placements. Very known and good companies are coming for the placements such as L&T, ALSTOM, TAFE, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, MAHINDRA, etc. The average package of companies are about 5 lakh per annum and the highest package is around 11 lakh. The placement percentage is about 50 percentage.

Likes

A good mentorship is provided in pantnagar by its societies,seniors and various events.
I have learnt many things in the ragging.ragging made me confident.

Dislikes

Gbpuat have 85% attendance required otherwise you have to repeat that subject in next year
People are greedy and they want to dominate everyone
Professors have too much attitude i hate that thing.

Placement Experience:

Campus offers placement after graduation in government companies such as pardan, after mba the placement rate is 100% of gbpuat before doing pg also there is placement but not 100% it's 40% after ug.Average package is 4 LPA.

Life in Pantnagar

Likes

The collage has a very studious environment.
The university gives very care for student's personal development.
The staff is highly professional in it's management and conduct.

Dislikes

It is a closed university, so things are a bit restricted.
No vehicles allowed for students inside university premises.
Taking up a hostel is a must or obvious as pgs are located about 3-5 km away from university.

Placement Experience:

The collage itself does not offer placement but it heavily assists in the placement of students. The minimum package a person can grab after BVSc is about 60,000 per month. You could also appear for PG exam or get appointed at private clinics .

Pantnagar: A dream college for many

Likes

The stadium and its maintenance was quite great and wonderful for an individual who is keen to indulge himself into a particular sports.
The entire campus is surrounded by trees so we get a fresh and healthy environment.
Various National Level Cultural and Technical Fest are organised every year that are fascinating.

Dislikes

The lack of some of the professor in giving an ample knowledge of a particular course.
The hostel food facility is somewhat below standard especially the day food in most of the mesh.

Placement Experience:

Basically the students become eligible from final year of their course for on campus placement. But there are many great minds that crack some of the internship or full time offers in the third year off campus. Various companies like L&T, Suzuki, Hitachi, etc visited and offered some exciting packages at our time. Around 85% of our branch got placed here and there.

Sometimes the faculty disappoint us as they sometimes don't consider the views of students.

College campus and faculty are the best over here. The alumni network is great and is present all over the world to help you out.

Dislikes

Entry timings and restrictions regarding leaves.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are number of courses and it's difficult to keep up with them. Having 10-11 courses and attending 9-5 every day is a cumbersome task that might make you hate the university but the curriculum is really diverse. You might study those subjects which you would've skipped in your 11th and 12th. So if you're a bio student be ready to study mathematics.

COT Pantanagar ki Jaan

This university is the second largest university in the world spread in around 12 acres. It is full of greenery giving you a fresh environment.There is a university stadium here which i very big supporting all sports activites.
It also has the largest library in world covering all the fields in its books. Professors are really good it just depends on how eagerly you wants to study .Seniors are good here providesa great support acadimically and socially.
It also has CCF where you get computers to study with free wifi for all college students.This university has 8 colleges so it allows the diversiness when we explore adding to our knowledge.Frequent college events are carried out in the university.

Dislikes

If you are coming here thinking to have a good placement then just drop it .This college doesn not provides a good placement you have to pursue higher study after btech or do preparation for government exams for successful future.
There is no night life in this college. After certain time it is not allowed to go outside the hostels. Also keeping your personal vechile except cycles are not allowed here although seeing on to the fact how big is this university.
You cannot rely fully on professors here.Although they teach well but you will need youtube or other source for learning.In this college there is no coding environment if you are interested in it you have to just learn it all by yourself.

Placement Experience:

student become eligible from final year for placements. although the rate of placement is low but major portion of students opt fro higher studies or preparing for government exams.companies like tcs wipro hcl foundation visited here offering avg package of 4 lakh per annum.percentage of student getting placement is relatively low .my plan after getting degree is preparing for gate exam and doing my mtech from higher colleges

I like how the professor teach students.
There is very good study environment. Professors are very supportive
We get very good exposure in this college

Dislikes

This college has very poor placement record
Examination curricular is very tough as compared to other colleges
Campus area of college is very less as compared to other colleges

Placement record is decent in this college.Students from final year are allowed to sit in the placement. Several companies visited for offering job some of them are T&C,Microsoft,Amazon etc. 60% students get placed of the total apllied students
