The college maintains a student-to-faculty ratio of 16:1, with predominantly male faculty members who are supportive and interactive. There is only one female professor. The Directorate of Placement and Counseling facilitates placements, predominantly managed by Pradan, an NGO, offering bachelor's students an average package of 3.6 lakh per annum. Students also have opportunities for internships in sectors like fish processing, genetics, feed industries, and fish medicine, which come with stipends.
Financial support is available through various scholarships, such as merit, sports, NSP, and tuition freeships, the latter being for students with a family income below Rs.1 lakh. Semester fees range from Rs.45,000 to Rs.50,000.
