Teaching methods could be made more progressive and technical with time paving way for more practical knowledge. Infrastructure could also be given a push.

Faculty:

The faculty was okayish. It definitely is proportional to student faculty relationship. Personally I liked Prof.Chetan Negi, Prof. Jalaj Sharma and Prof Dr. Rajeev Singh ( all CS faculty). Their approach towards teaching and towards maintaining cordial relations with students was great. Rest all faculties were also okay. Exams in first year btech include all subjects relating to other streams as well. From second yr btech subjects are course centric. The exam papers are quite difficult in the first year and the marking scheme is also rigid. It is difficult to get through the first year of btech for the ones who take studies lightly. Maximum students get their back in subjects in this year. But things become smooth and easier when you enter second year btech. Paper level is on the higher side but the checking becomes easier. There are 8 semesters in btech and per semester there are approx 5-7 subjects depending on the credits of the subject (per year min total 16 credit subjects to 23 credit subjects). The higher the credit a subject carries and the higher you score in that particular subject, the higher probability of getting a better GPA as compared to scoring high in a lesser credit subject.

The faculty are well experienced with most of them being a P.H.D holder. Faculties are supportive and try to help the students as best as they can. They are approachable easily in college or even via whatsapp or other means of communication. Some faculties which i would like to mention are Rajesh singh sir[I.T] , Ashok sir[I.T], Sunil Sir[ Maths] Jaya bhaduria mam[Maths], Yogita mam[Maths], Kajal mam[Maths], D.S.Murthy Sir [Mechanical (Thermodynamics) ] , Sonika Chauhan mam[ (Engineering Mechanics) Mechanical], Sakshi Chauhan mam[ ( Material Science) Mechanical] Gagan dixit mam[Physics(classical mechanics)] Deepika mam[Physics(rigid body mechanics)], B.C Chanyal sir[Optics] and there are more. The Real reality of my collage

Each department have different faculties. assistant professors and PhD students come to teach the ratio of student versus faculty is is okay and the exams are conducted by semester wise in its semester 2 pre finals and one final exam are taken and viva and practical also considered 20 marks pre finals are taken and 50 or 40 marks final are taken there are some department in agriculture engineering name irrigation and water department soil water conservation department farm machinary harvesting department post harvesting department

Faculty member of my college are quite good in certain aspects. Faculty and college ratio is different with more amount of students. Student relationship with faculty is good and student approachable of faculty is good Faculty.

Faculty are good and well experienced ! But some faculties especially in civil are worst !! They don't even know how to teach and will not even give you stastisfactory marks in results. Other department such as mechanical and electrical are great!

Facilities are not very helpful in nature towards students. Teacher are not really interested in teaching they come to take attendance in most of the departments. There are few with good nature and some are very arrogant. There are 3 exam in a semester that are prefinal 1, prefinal 2 and final semester exams.

The faculty ratio in the college and specially in our department are less then required Faculty and professors are not helpfull and helping in nature. They react only as they are doing formality to take class and lecture. Teacher are not coming daily but attendance are must to passing the semester exams. I like one teacher because he is very polite to us. I dislike one teacher beacause he demotivated the students. There are 3 exams in a semester that are prefinal 1, prefinal 2 and semester final exam Prefinal are of 15/25 marks according to their practical of courses And final exam are of 50 marks Student required 50 exams together in exams out of 100 Its been very tough to secure the marks without the help of teachers

The course was not a difficult one nor an easy one, depends upon our hard work and seriousness towards our studies. We usually took 6 classes in 1 day. Classes start at 9:30a.m and get over at 2:30p.m. We got one Lunch Break which is 30 minutes only. The teachers usually use PowerPoint method, they use white boards as well. Sometimes, they show us videos or movies which are related to our studies. We often have presentation or group discussions too. I admire all our faculties, they were all nice and good at Political Science. The faculty I admire the most was Sir Tka. He teaches really well and is never arrogant to the students, he is very understanding and very good at his profession. We have to score 80% attendence every semester in each paper to be able to sit for examinations. If we are not able to fulfill the attendance criteria, they sometimes pardon those who have genuine reasons, but if not they are not able to sit for examinations.

Experience faculty in civil engineering it may vary according to your branch

No. Of Faculty : 12 No of students per batch : 65 Ratio : 5.41 I really like PS Mahar sir he thougt us fluid mechanics in 2nd year because he will always teach us from gate perspective and in a manner that student can understand There is so such faculty i don't like cause they all are very experienced in their fields but sometimes i don't understand what they are teaching beacuse they don't teach in sequence. And it will be really helpfull. There are three exams per semester 1st hourly : 25 marks (1hour) 2nd hourly :25 marks (1 hour) Final exam : 50 marks (2.5 hour) The passing criteria for all of them is 50 percent And in the the last if you don't score 50 out of 100 you'll get a back(fail). And you can only fill 2 back per semester. And only give back paper 3 Also attendence criteria is 85 % it can be reduced to 75 but you have to fill condone form to be able to give examination other wise you'll get an IR (irregular) and you have to repeat that particular course in next year.
