Likes
- The stadium and its maintenance was quite great and wonderful for an individual who is keen to indulge himself into a particular sports.
- The entire campus is surrounded by trees so we get a fresh and healthy environment.
- Various National Level Cultural and Technical Fest are organised every year that are fascinating.
Dislikes
- The lack of some of the professor in giving an ample knowledge of a particular course.
- The hostel food facility is somewhat below standard especially the day food in most of the mesh.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course currilum is not framed in such a proper order that it might help you in certain examination like GATE and all but it completely depends over you that how you manage both with your college courses and other preparation. The sequence of the courses executed in various semester are not apt for a CS engineer.
Placement Experience
Basically the students become eligible from final year of their course for on campus placement. But there are many great minds that crack some of the internship or full time offers in the third year off campus. Various companies like L&T, Suzuki, Hitachi, etc visited and offered some exciting packages at our time. Around 85% of our branch got placed here and there.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are various scholarship available in our college and especially these are for the students who comes from economically weaker section of the society. They are awarded exemption from the tution fees of each semester that is 25000 per semester. And also for the top 3 performer in each branch and in each year they are also awarded.
Campus Life
Various Fest that are organised in our college are... Accolade: The National Level Cultural & Fine Arts Fest Colosseum : The National Level Technical Fest Spardha , Razmatazz , and many more. There were many clubs societies NGO, Mandals like VSM, Chetna NGO, LB, CB, SLB, EB, E cell, Spic Macay, Editorial Board, etc.
Hostel Facilities
The room provided to us was good . In first year 3 students and in second year 2 students and after that all were provided single room. The meal quality was not that much great especially the lunch which was almost below average in most of the hostels. Hostel registration was done at the same time of admission so it was quite easy and these are alloted yearwise.
Admission
The admission in our time was basically dependent upon the JEE Mains rank. As I belong from Uttarakhand so in our state quota we were distinguished using State Rank and that ranks were taken into consideration. It went for three rounds and the final round was decided to be spot round in which I also got my respective branch.
Faculty
Most of the faculty that were there in our time was quite supportive. They had a great knowledge in their respective domains. They are always in a hunt that a particular student ask them some of the most challenging question for the topic going on. The classes arranged by the professors basically depends upon the department of which the course you are studying in our college.
