Remarks
You will have to apply for the course through the UTU counseling which is held every year. The counselling is based on the JEE MAINS rank. The rank should be good to get your dream branch. There are reservation benefits also for the OBC, SC and ST category. there are also some reservations. The admission process is also good . There are spot counselling also which are held at college level in offline mode.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is also very good, we will get support from your faculty and staff. You will have to prepare to yourself for the real world experience. The teaching methods are also good. The faculty is very experienced. There are 2 prefinal exams and 1 semester final exam. All are in about 1 month interval.
Internships Opportunities
You will have to do a internship in every end of the academic year, which is necessary for all the students. The faculty will provide you and inform you about all the online and offline internship available. You will have to apply for the internship on yourself. Some of the companies come to provide internship opportunities to the students.
Placement Experience
From 7th semester the students are eligible for the placements. All the branches are going for the placements. Very known and good companies are coming for the placements such as L&T, ALSTOM, TAFE, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, MAHINDRA, etc. The average package of companies are about 5 lakh per annum and the highest package is around 11 lakh. The placement percentage is about 50 percentage.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fee is affordable as it is a government college. The hostel fee is also moderately reasonable. You will get all the facilities like internet and medical facilities in the fee. You will have to apply for the scholarship in the NSP portal. The university also provide scholarship to the students on the basis of CGPA.
Campus Life
There are less number of fests in the college. The national level tech fest here is Colosseum, which is a national level tech fest in which a known artist visited every year. There are also fests which is organized frequently. The university Library is equipped with all the necessary books and journals of the academic. There is a central computing facility where you can have computer system and study facility. The sports facilities are also fine. There is a stadium in the pantnagar campus which has necessary equipment's. There are students groups like VSM, E-CELL, CHETNA, etc. in which you can join and show your skills.
Faculty
The faculty is very good and very experience. All labs are good and equipped with all the necessary equipment's and devices. College life is fine. The atmosphere of pantnagar is also very good. We will have to face extreme summer and extreme winter also.
