Professors are very helpful and explains each concept very clearly
Senior of the college are very helpful in contest of giving guidance about coding ,academics etc
College has assigned mentors to each to cater their needs and solve their problem that they are facing

Dislikes

marking scheme is very strict their is cut to cut fight for marks among students
some students do setting with their TA's to get marks in their exams
their is Jee like competition among students for marks in semester exams

Internships Opportunities:

top companies among FAANG offers top internship opportunities to 3 nd 4 year students on the basis of their skill and also handsome stipend like amazon provided 1.25 lakh to nearly 50 sttudents from the college . Apart from internship some students also received ppo's .

IIIT Allahabad genuine review

Likes

The course curriculum is very relevant, so you don't have to study biology and chemistry.
Junior Senior interaction is very good, no ragging culture.
I like the infrastructure of this college, buildings and campus is well maintained .

Dislikes

Extra curricular activities like sports, dance, music is not much here.
It has little bit of hectic acads, there are lots of assignments and quizs.
Faculties are strict but some are chill and have expertise in their domain.

Internships Opportunities:

IIIT allahabad has a good internship opportunities. Students start grabing interns from thier 2nd year in different types of rolls like software engineer. And we also have course interships which are integrated with our academic credits.

Iiit allahabad best average package college

Likes

They have a great campus, they have all facilities for sports but some of them are not properly functioning
They have various clubs which promotes social interactions and healthy environment
They have a very good coding culture and which reflects their placement

Dislikes

Faculty is not that great , in the end you have to study from online resources
Every one is just studying and not physically active in sports
There sports facilities are worn out and requires time to bring new ones

Internships Opportunities:

In internships we have many companies visiting us , they acquire highly skilled people and offer stipend accordingly. We can make web development projects to enhance our cv to attract them , and attract high package3

Placements are very good and the peer here is very good and motivates you to work on your skills and improve yourself
There is a pretty decent sport culture also and but not that great
And everyone is coding here so you are good for placements with it and it students also help you to be better at coding if you are in ece

Dislikes

Course is very rigorous all you have to do is go to lab do this assignment do that
Girls to boys ratio is very low like 4:1
The campus is very small and even after being small half the college is filled with apartments for professors and students are not allowed to go there

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is very good and better than most iits and nits and almost all iiits . Inthe year 2023-24 the placement for ece was 29.11 lpa and for it it was 33 lpa and it-bi was 35 lpa. The highest package was around 1.25 cr. There are several companies like apple ,samsung ,zepto ,amazon ,meta de shaw nvidia and many more you name it . Almost every good company and startuos visit this college

Honest Opinion on IIIT ALLAHABAD

Likes

The placements of IIIT Allahabad is high compared to other top NITs and IIITs. My ECE average package is 29LPA.
The infrastructure of IIIT Allahabad is average and better than most of IIITs and average NITs
There are certain course like youth employment skills are good.

Dislikes

The academic in IIIT Allahabad is very hectic.
The college campus is very small as compared to others. The main area for students is almost 50acrez
The boys is to girls ratio is 4:1 that is not too good.

From 4th semester, many students get into the internship and many gets further preplacement through it. The companies visted are google, atlassian, flipkart, qualcomm, samsung, phone pe etc. Highest package is 1.21CR per annum. Average package is 30LPA 90% students got placed. Private job is the plan after getting the degree. 90% students gets placed.

Likes

I really like the academic quality of my college and how serious they are about it, they conduct timely quizzes and tests to keep the stundents under check which at times is also annoying.
The college is very famous for its coding culture and also an updated industry focused cirriculum where they dont teach us unrelated subjects like chemistry.
Our college is also GOATED for the placement records, as they provide a very good support and big FANG companies visit the campus to recruit students.

Dislikes

Mess food might be an issue for those who are from south of India.
Also the campus though decent but is not of very huge size and you would start feeling it to be quiet small after some time.
Extreme climatic conditions for few times in a year.

Internships Opportunities:

I am not that aware in detail abhout the interbship opportunites in my college but the placement cell also provides a strong support for the internships as well and also big companies also visit and take students.

Labs are well equipped and you we get access to it
Campus is of 100 acres which covers all needs for students
Good competitive environment which create good vibes

Dislikes

Boring faculties and there boring lectures
Campus located in outskirts of Prayagraj which is around 8km from city centre
Very less focus on other co curricular activities

Internships Opportunities:

There are many companies come for internship opportunities on campus which gives around 150 offers i.e around 1/3 of students with a average stipend of 1.5 lakh per month. Maximum company visit campus in beginning of 3rd year for Btech students

Likes

good coding and development environment in campus, students here are indulged in projects
good cultural fest effevescence which attracts people across the globe
good brand tag in tech industry such as banglore it hub.

Dislikes

hectic schedule in this college specially in ece makes it a deal breakere
ece here is too much oriented around labs
in ece if a student does not have to pursue the core then also have to do so much work in it.

Internships Opportunities:

here in internships girls are more selected for summer internships in the name of diversity hiring . but for male students also decent amount of internships are present for students for good industry experience.

Coding culture of college is extremely great , environment and location of over college is also good . Research culture of IIIT Allahabad is very good , there I participate in many projects with professor and PHD .
Placement culture of our college is very extraordinary in compared to other colleges in india
Sports event of IIIT Allahabad is good , There is InterIIIT sports event

Dislikes

Attendance policy of our college is very strict.
Hactice schedule because of work in project for many subjects
Only Two branches of our college because of this student are very less

Internships Opportunities:

Google, Microsoft, Amazon, meesho, accenture, futures first, MAQ and many other like 100 companies come to our college, I done 2 project in machine learning related work which is very great to do this

I have scored more than 93% in JEE Mains Phase 1, can I get a 50% Scholarship for B.Tech at IIIT Allahabad?

There are various scholarships offered to the students based on minority and reserved category and also based on post matric scholarship, however it doesn’t offer scholarships to the students based on JEE Mains score. However, you can get scholarship based on “Earn while you learn” program but you need to work in part-time to be eligible for the same.
