IIIT Allahabad B.Tech Admission 2024
IIIT Allahabad offers B.Tech programs in three specializations, each of them segregated into eight semesters.There is provision for direct admission to B. Tech programs under DASA for students who have completed their last qualifying exam abroad.

IIIT Allahabad B.Tech Eligibility Criteria
- Aspirants who wish to join the B.Tech program are required to complete their 10+2 board examination with PCM from a recognized institute.
- Candidates must at least score a minimum of 50% marks in their examination.
- For SC/ST students, there is 10% relaxation in the minimum required percentile of qualifying marks in the 12th class examination.
IIIT Allahabad B.Tech Selection Criteria
- The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will regulate the seat allocation
- With valid JEE Main or equivalent entrance examination score, a merit list shall be made category-wise, listing All India Rank (AIR) of candidates.
- Based on the rank secured, candidates are required to appear in JoSAA Counselling rounds as per their category.

IIIT Allahabad M.Tech Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have completed their B. Tech in the relevant field with at least 6.5 CGPA or at least 60% marks in the aggregate.
- The candidates must have a GATE score of the past 3 years.
- SC/ST candidates must have 6.0 CGPA or 55% marks to be eligible for the program.
IIIT Allahabad M.Tech Selection Criteria
- Admission to the M.Tech program will be granted on the basis of GATE score.
- For the M.Tech Program, candidates will have to participate through CCMT Counselling. They need to register at the official CCMT website
- Fill in the application form entering personal and academic details and pay the registration fee (INR 2200/- for General/ OBC and INR 1700/- for SC/ ST/ PwD)
- Start entering the desired choices. Add the choices in decreasing order of preference and lock them.
- With the rounds of counselling, seats will be allotted. Candidates need to download the allotment letter and report to the institute. They must carry the original documents with them on the day of admission.
How to Apply?
- Register for the GATE exam through the Online Application form.
- Enter personal login with the unique ID and password and enter personal information (name, date of birth, personal mobile number, parents’ name, parents’ mobile number, etc.).
- Upload photograph, signature, and other documents like eligibility certificate, category certificate (SC/ST/PwD), as applicable.
- Enter the GATE paper (subject) and Choice of examination cities.
- Pay the application fee and submit it.
- After submission, check the status of the application form and retain the hard copy of it.

IIIT Allahabad MBA Admission 2024
The institute offers the full-time MBA program for two years. Admission is done on the basis of CAT score followed by the Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds.
IIIT Allahabad MBA Eligibility Criteria
- Eligibility for the program is Bachelors’ Degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 65% marks (55% marks for SC/ST/PD) from a recognized university.
- Candidates must also have a valid CAT score to be eligible and be shortlisted for the program. Score of 85+ percentile is preferred as the minimum score for shortlisting candidates.
- Final year students who are awaiting or will be completing their graduation can also apply for the program.
IIIT Allahabad MBA Selection Criteria
- Once the notification has been released, candidates can fill the application form entering all the information including CAT score and registration details.
- Upon shortlisted (based on CAT scores), they need to report to the institute for GD PI rounds, schedule as mentioned in the intimation letter mailed to each shortlisted candidate
- Based on GD PI rounds’ performance, past academic performance and CAT score, the final list of selected students shall be released on the website as well as personally informed via Email to each selected student.

- Application forms for MBA programs can be filled online by visiting www.nitk.ac.in.
- The applicants need to register online with the portal.
- The registered candidates have to complete Online Application form and pay prescribed application fee, i.e. Rs 600 (OC/OBC/EWS) and Rs 150 (SC/ST/PWD) online before the last date.
- The hardcopy of the completed application form with payment receipts and copy of necessary documents is to be sent to the institute.

The institute offers PhD programmes in 5 major research with the duration for a full-time PhD program of 3-5 years and the duration for a part-time PhD program of 4-5 years.The admission is done based on merit. The application can be done by the online portal method.

IIIT Allahabad Dual Degree Admission 2024
IIIT Allahabad offers a five-year dual degree program at the UG and PG levels in various specializations. On successful completion of the program, students are awarded two degrees, one in the parent course they choose at the time of admission and the other one in an upper-level course in which they choose to continue the course for the dual degree. Admissions to all the dual degree programs are purely based on entrance examination followed by a central counselling process.

I got admission here through JEE MAINS , and main reason to choose this college is placemnts and good coding culture , Also extra curricular is also great so these are all reasons to choose this collge over others.

I have applied for some top nits above this but after some information about it have change my decision about it because here placements rate is very high comparing to other college Admission process is very smooth here every document are verified by the admission faculties

- I liked the Average Package of IIIT Allahabad which is around 30 lakhs

I applied to NIT's and IIT's but i chose IIIT because of its strong focus on IT, top placements and advanced curriculum. I was offered ECE in NIT Surathkal but i wanted IT or CS branch. I also got offers from IIT's but the branches were not that i wanted.

Admission:
I choose this college for two reasons mainly. First is College placement and second is its coding culture. It offers one of the best placement which is at par with any Tier-1 college in India. It also gives you good environment for coding. The admission is done through JOSAA councelling on the basis of your JEE MAINs score. There are different range of cut-off rank required for each branch.

During josaa counselling, I choosed to put IIIT Allahabad at the top because I heard that overall placements are good.I applied for NIT warangal cs too but couldn't get it because of rank cutoff. So I proceeded with IIIT Allahabad.

This college is very good with respect to placements and internship my jee rank was around 13k therefore I chose this college and I don't regret coming here . And the cutoff for this college is also very high

I got IIITA in josaa Round 5 , I chose this college because of its Good coding culture, exceptional placement offers and outstanding average package (nearly 32LPA) . First of all placment is TOP NOTCH and also just take 2 hour to reach IIITA from my home and here i get ece and this is best choice on my crl IIITA is small campus in comparison of NIT/ IIT and there is just 3 brach ECE IT IT-BI,college is much fore focussed in academic area i had filled MNNIT IT and IIITA IT but rank is not much as i get easily admission process is too easy there is portal of college erp IIITA where you upload your fees and document and just verify by college by physical reporting .After reporting and verified by college u had given ID card and thats over exam is JEE MAIN cut off for sc 96+ percentile for obc 98+ percentile for feneral 99+ percentile

The admission process is not very difficult and hectic as different branches are assigned different timings. The admission is taken through JEE Mains and DASA. Cut-off of JEE mains for general category is nearly 5000 or below rank. Admissions are done through Josaa counselling. All caste reservations in India are considered also there is special reservation for girls.

To get admission in IIIT Allahabad what should I do?
My best friend cracked the IIT Allahabad entrance in 2018 and it was not easy to do so. She had cleared the JEE exam with 225 marks to get into the IT department. IIIT Allahabad is a good institution because of its IIT brand name, although it ranks #103 on the NIRF Engineering ranking portal. However, if you'd like to pursue an education at IIT A then read on-
- Firstly, you must have a minimum of 75% marks in 10+2 after which the JOSAA counseling till round 2 can lead you to your IIIT A goal.
- You must get at least 180 marks in the JEE exam to enroll in the four-year ECE program at IIIT Allahabad and your AIR rank for the same should be under 11,000.
- For other dual degree courses, you will need between 180-220 marks in the same.
- Your AIR rank must be under 6500 to get into IIIT A.
- One more good news will be that IIIT A does not have a state quota for residents of UP, hence anyone from India has a fair chance of studying in it. This is true for all IITs.

Is it easy to get admission into IIIT Allahabad?
If you are talking about IIIT-Allahabad, then the answer is Yes, it’s quite easy to take admission. All you need is either a decent JEE rank or a good GATE score.
- If you want to take admission in B.Tech, your rank should be between 4000 to 7000 depending on the specialization. If your rank falls in the given range, you will get admission easily.
- For admissions in M.Tech, you have to qualify GATE with a score of 500 and above, and it will be a cakewalk for you from there.
- If you want to take admission in Ph.D., you have to give the entrance exam and clear the coding round. Once you qualify for the test, you have to undergo some interview rounds and you will be selected.
- For admissions in i-Mtech i.e BTech and MTech integrated courses, your rank should be under 10K.
- For admissions in the MTech+Ph.d course, you have to qualify for GATE with a score of 533 and above.

The last date to apply for the MBA admission and receiving application is May 10th 2024 post which the shortlist list and PI process will begin.
The average JEE score required for admission to integrated B.Tech + MBA course is around 90 percentile for unreserved catagory students. There are some relaxation for other categories students.
IIIT Allahabad will begin the admission to B.Tech course soon. The admission to B.Tech course starts after the completion of JEE counselling process.
