IIIT Allahabad genuine review

So the course curriculum of IIIT allahabad is really good, we have first smester which common for all branches and from 2nd semester you need to study only relevant courses, In first year of it branch, we are taught subjects like DSA and Web Dev. So they give you early exposure to your relevant courses which give a good lead.

IIIT allahabad has a good internship opportunities. Students start grabing interns from thier 2nd year in different types of rolls like software engineer. And we also have course interships which are integrated with our academic credits.

The placement scenario in IIIT Allahabad is commendable. In the session of 2024, over 280 companies participated in the recruitment drive. Notable recruiters includes: Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Amazon, DE Shaw, Goldman Sachs, Flipkart, Paytm, Wipro and many more. Highest Package : 1.21 CPA Average Package : 25.78 LPA

You have to pay 2.5 lakhs per year for this college which include everyting (tution fee, hostel fee, mess fee and other). GEN/OBC/EWS Tution fee - 162000/yr Caution fees - 4840/- Admission fees - 19360/- includes alumini funds, enrollment fee and id card fee. Mess fees - 24300/semester For sc/st tution fees is zero. and college provides all national and state level scholarships for each category students. and there are some merit based scholarships also for best performers.

So we have Effervesence (cultural fest) in late october. It is a 3 day fest held from 25th oct to 27th oct which features dance, music, drama, and various cultural activities. Then, we have our technical fest Aproksha which is held in March. Aproksha is a platform for students to showcase thier technical skills and engage in workshops and competition. IIITA has a central libary which is fully air-conditioned and it has approximately 62000 physical books. Although It has limited seating capacity which is 150 students at a time.

In your first year, you get a room wtih double sharing. Room size is enough for two people. It has well maintained fully air-conditioned mess and food quality is also very good but sometimes you have to compromise with taste and it has very divers menu which includes food from eacch corner of India.

I also tried for MNNIT Allahabad, I got it in JOSAA counselling but I didn't go for because it has old infrastructure and placements stats of IIIT allahabad is better that's why I chose IIITA. So I got IIIT allahabad through JOSAA counselling by JEE MAINS.

Faculty to student ratio is around 1:30 and faculties are little strict when its come disipline and academics, Among the faculties I like Navjyot sir and Shiv ram dubey sir both are excellent professors of DSA, and have great experience in their field. After NEP, we have two major exams in one semester - mid semester exam and end semester exam and other than that we also have lab tests and quizs, and all exams have deccent level of difficulty but you can score if study one week before the exams.

Closing time for gym, cafetaria, library and campus is 12:00 AM, Students are also generally expected to return to their hostel by 12:00 AM. (only for boys) for girls it is 10:30 PM. Best hangout places are outside the college, one is Civil lines which is 6-7km from campus and another is Sangam.
