Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum at IIITA is comparatively hectic which take time for many students to manage the pace. The exam frequency is also so much that every 2-3 week some kind of Quiz ,mid- sem or end- sem use to there. Curriculum followed here is in accordance to NEP2020 so it gives diversity to student to what to choose
Internships Opportunities
There are many companies come for internship opportunities on campus which gives around 150 offers i.e around 1/3 of students with a average stipend of 1.5 lakh per month. Maximum company visit campus in beginning of 3rd year for Btech students
Placement Experience
Best in class placement is there at IIIT Allahabad. You will get intern oppertunity in starting of 3rd year and placement opportunities from 7th semester. Over 250 companies come on campus. Average package of 2024 is 35LPA and median is 30LPA with 90% students placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees of 4 year B.Tech program at IIIT Allahabad is 11 lakh including hostel Per year fees- 2.5 lakh For reservation candidates tution fees of 1.4 lakh/year get waived. There are both merit and means scholarship for students.
Campus Life
Campus Life here at IIIT Allahabad is good. There are all type of clubs and societies for extra curricular activities. And also you will get a good infrastructure like with equipped AC smart classrooms and labs. Dedicated Student Activity Centre for both outdoor and indoor sports. There are three main fest First is Effervescence cultural fest of IIITA Second is Aparoksha technical fest of IIITA Third is Asmita sports fest of IIITA
Hostel Facilities
Hostel are well maintained and cleaned regularly. Hostel is compulsory for every one in IIITA so you get good vibes at hostel. Food quality is not very good but manageable. Here rooms are equipped with bed , table, chair, cupboard for every individual and common washroom at every floor. Rooms are single occupancy for 3-4 th year and double sharing for 1-2ns years students
Admission
The best plus point of this college is its placements where if study 4 years with passion you will easily land a job of 30-40 lpa. Second well equipped labs and classroom which gives you hands on experience to real world project.
Faculty
Faculties are experienced and well knowledgeable but sometimes due to back to back lectures it becomes so much hectic to focus in class. There are some courses like Linear Algebra and Engineering Physics which becomes hard for 1 year student to pass. Overall exam level is also high. Faculty to student ratio is 1:130
Night Life
Boys hostels are outside theain campus so there is the restriction for campus at night after 11pm. But at hostels there is night canteens ,gyms. Library and cafeteria is closed at night. Only option is to order food at night are local restaurant like Kings which is operational till 2Am
