Dislikes

The college hostel are not good as you were paying 82000 for the 3 sheeter hostel room
The timings of the college is very bad you have to come early in the morning and get departure in the evening.
One thing i disliked about this university that is no proper time of exams

Best private college in ncr region

Likes

The ratio of boys and girls are decent like around 25-30 girls in batches of 72 .
Faculty behaviour and qualification is just awesome
No ristircition for any thing you can bunk the classes and move in college

Dislikes

Attendance criteria is very bad . They make it hepatic.
Academic pressure is live next level you have to go through test atleast once in weak
Campus size is very small in comparison of students intake

Placement Experience:

I think it's from 7 semester for most of the company but if you have guts to crack job in 5 semester then you have chance to crack.amazon visited last year but not offer any job .oncmapus u can get like 20 lpa highest and off campus 60 lpaand avg is 7 lpa.around 90% gets placement from kiet. I have to crack good placement in well known mnc company

Reality of SRMCEM

Likes

Beautiful campus and canteen with affordable rates
Proper labs with latest systems and windows
Provide gym and other sports facilities for students

Dislikes

No leave on Saturday and a hectic schedule
No elevators even for 7 floor building also
Too much pressure on students for quizzes and tutes

Placement Experience:

That is the biggest issue. The college doesn't provide NOC even if you are selected in top FANG companies until and unless it is a campus placement which breaks a lot of opportunities from students and no campus can provide full placement

i really appreciate the extra curricular engagement that my college provides it is one of the best amongst all colleges of delhi ncr. there are variety of clubs and society which provide exposure in varied field such as MUN, HACKATHONS, Culturalfest.
i am very engaged in all the in campus and off campus activites . i have been member and coordinator of photography society and currently leading the society of adminstration, operations logistics and hospitality of my college. it is most important.
infrastrucute is pretty huge and beautiful and well managed as well. we have 7 blocks and canteen area along with 2 hostel blocks and 3 major grounds. we have fountain area, auditorium and much more facilities.

Dislikes

the in campus hostel is pretty average with high fees and unhygenic hostel facilities. the food is pretty basic and dirty and hostel is conjusted as well. they are taking money equivalent to private hostels and facilities are very poor accordingly.
the placement and internship scenario are dissapointing for some students as mass recruiting companies are giving below average saliries and asking for highly skilled candidates. this might cause disruption and distress among students.
i do not agree with a few faculties on campus who come to just spend 1 hour in the classrom and teach nothing. they get paid for it but they waste time of students. labs are well maintained. And library is undermaintainenece washrooms are cleen .

Placement Experience:

Students in our college are eligible to fill placement forms in the 6th semester. The back criteria is often decided by various companies. few companies allow no backs, few allow up to 2 backs, and few don't bother to check. The minimum CGPA requirement is 6.5. Few companies that have visited our college are Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Squareyards, Capgemini, etc. The average percent of students getting placed is 80-90%, but it includes a lot of mass recruiting companies. They offer a minimun salary of 2 lakhs and exploit their employes.

the skill lab in the collage there are real drone based , mostly the top drone technology work in collaboration with lloyd institute of technology also the collage has also been working upon the development of the EV vechines batteries
the EV vechiels research where there have been development and research upon building increasing the capacity of the batteries.
the incubation center in the collage provides help in incubating companies and its msme supported .

Dislikes

the size of the collage , the placement , and the forced and longer classes
no much extra curicullar activities and only 3 events in the whole year no feast and the most problematic is the weekly exams , every saturday there is a compulsary exam which all must attend
the collage is hindi based teaching and along with that no cultural program too much academically forced no time for self improvements and the coding culture not too good , if you want a collage with a proper fests and events then this is not good

You are eligible for placements from your third year, ther are many comapanies visited out of them the most popular is the tech manindra and the sales force , the frequency of the placement is low and not so good, the highest pakage is arounf 15lakhs and the average goes from 5 lakhs to 3 lakhs . the percentage of student who got placed is low around 20%. My plans after getting the degree is to persue the masters from a foreign university mostly university of north southern wells australia.

The KIET facts

Likes

The good infrastructure of KIET, as wifi is available in whole campus, well classrooms, with smartboard.
We have 24/7 electricity supply throughout the college, and we to have sockets for our laptop charging at our classroom desk.
We have good computer labs, good faculty.

Dislikes

Size of college campus is small around 18Acres just.
As campus is small so our football and cricket ground are in small size.
Despite everything this year KIET has increased its intake much .

Abes engineering college review

Likes

Faculty of our college are really good they really teach you
Infrastructure is also so good, I really like that.
They gave us holiday on Saturday which I really love.

Dislikes

Some classrooms are really bad it's really hard sometimes to at that class whole day
They need to shorten the college timings from 4:30 tk 3:30

From 3rd semester students are eligible for campus placements. The companies are infosys ,google, amazon, Goldman Sachs etc.Tge highest package is given by Google and it is 50 lpa and average salary is around 7 lpa, in cse every student's placed.

College campus is very big and beautiful and many plants fully green campus college Akgec have good research equipment and robotics lab with biggest robotics manufacturing company kuka and have great faculty well experienced college discipline is goo
If I talk about discipline is good not so strict
Food stalls are near available with cheap rate

Boy and girl ratio is very less like 1:3 1 ration girl 3 ratio boy
College have great number of exams daily daily
College have no ac in classroom difficult for summer

Placement is very good of akgec around 330 companies visit every year almost 89 percentage of students is placed in good companies with average package of 5.30lpa placement is good as compared to other colleges.

there is a dress system which is provided by college.

Well Job Getting College

Likes

Overall the area I liked so much so much greenery in college
Teachers were very experienced who has more than 15+ yr of experience of their particular subject
Face Ground is also well for sports and events

Dislikes

Canteen food can do much better in terms of hygiene
No boundaries in front of college which leads to insecurity

Insights of GCET

Likes

Things I like is firstly, less pressure of assignments and irrelevant works.
Secondly, college infrastructure and spacious rooms, not suffocating and is well litted and ventileted.
Thirdly, faculties and department teachers are so supportive and engaging for students

Dislikes

Things I disliked firstly is, long hours of college as we have total 8 periods everyday and 50 minutes each including extra 50 minute lunch break, causing tiredness.
Secondly, girls to boys ratio is like 1:10 or less, which is not okay.
Thirdly, college syllabus is some outdated type, that needs to focus more on practical than theoretical knowledge.

Placements in GCET are average. We have placement cell which acknowledges students from 6th semester to sit in placements. Around 10-14 companies visited, some are Infosys, HCL Technologies, IBM, Jubliant, etc. They offer a package of around 7-8 LPA to CS students. There is chance of 80% students to get placed. My plans after getting the degree is to apply for on-campus as well as off-campus placements for better opportunity and appearing for GATE exam.

You will only learn the theoretical aspects of engineering. It doesn’t offer the practical hands-on experience students require to excel in the technical field.
