What Students Say

Likes

Beautiful campus and canteen with affordable rates
Proper labs with latest systems and windows
Provide gym and other sports facilities for students

Dislikes

No leave on Saturday and a hectic schedule
No elevators even for 7 floor building also
Too much pressure on students for quizzes and tutes

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is apt as per the current need. It could have been better with a more proper practical knowledge for students since it is a technical course and requires for of the industrial knowledge rather than theoretically and bookish ones

Class Size: 62Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Placement Experience

That is the biggest issue. The college doesn't provide NOC even if you are selected in top FANG companies until and unless it is a campus placement which breaks a lot of opportunities from students and no campus can provide full placement

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fees in 140000 including caution money and tution fees with lab fees included for an entire year. Have to pay examination fees for AKTU which is 8500 per year including both semesters. The fees is opt for a technical course in my city.

Campus Life

Clubs and social involvement is great. There are 2 fests conducted in a year which are abhivyakti and freshers or dandiya night which is definitely an attraction. It can be consider for extra curricular activities

Admission

This is the top rated collin my city for bachelors of technology and since i wasn't allowed out of the city so i opted this one. Comparing with others there are much better colleges with a better management for students. Definitely not a top recommendation for others

Faculty

Mostly all faculties are same but every semester has that one life saver faculty. In sem 1 i had ajay prakash sir, he taught us environment science but is the bestest faculty i got till day in that college most understanding and supportive faculty. Coming for exams the college has 2 quizzes each week and the hectic schedule doesn't provide time for students to learn new things and self study

Night Life

There is no as such night life there. The campus is in outer region and the gates are closed around 8 pm allowing no one to exit officially ofcourse and the fest days have night life for around 12 midnights max

Placement Experience:

The Placement In all the Branch is really impressive except civil branch , CSE & IT has offer per student placement of 2 to 3 Companies and average package of 5 to 6 lakh, while in ther branches 90% of student get placed with average package og 3.6 lakh , oly civil suffer in placement with only sucess rate og nearly 30%.

Galgotias College: A college that underwhelms you in every way but never allows you to complaint.

Placement Experience:

The placements of GCET are considered average to above average for a private college. The average usually looms around 5LPA. The highest CTC offered this year was 39 LPA by Autodesk. Around 70-80 percent students are placed every year.

Real Story of SCRIET

Placement Experience:

From the 8th semester onwards students became eligible for campus placements.They are only few companies come on our college and very few offers.The highesr paid package by an company to our college student is 40 lac per annum but the average package is 4.5 lac per annum.Only 10 percent of students get on campus placements.I will pursue M.Tech from any other university.

The placements are very bad in this college...the packages offered to students are very low...about 3lpa on average....number of offers recieved by students is also very less...around 20% students get placed that too at very less packages

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is so outdated.. so it will not prepare us for the real world challenges that we are going to face in future.. course need to update according to now.. semester exams are happen here after four month only they do not even provide proper time for preparation..and sometimes exams are easy but sometimes exams are tricky

By the way ,the placement rate in this college of 95% for CSE .Almost all students in the college get placed in reputed companies and a minimum of 75% is required in the semesters for placement.The highest placement package in this college has reached 19 lakhs per years and the average package is around 3-4 lakh per year.Additionally students in this college also have the opportunity to interns as part of their academics experience.

About SRMCEM LUCKNOW review for CSE STUDENT

Well honestly I choose this college because of my parents as this is nearby from my hometown and it's well known for good education and discipline. Excelllent

Because of the college name in my location it is well knowned college , it is known for its study and also for campus placement and aklso comparsion of other college fees structure is also less so that every category and financial stability person can also enrolled for the higher education as they provide different financil aid to weaker finnacial person by giving relaxation in the feees of the program and their faculity is also well trained but one thing goesa wrong that their is campus placement only for the engennering candidate not for the management candidate , so this thing they need to improve ....Read More
