Course Curriculum Overview

4

The btech from cse placement felt like okay There was no such curriculum that influenced me to choose this course They should focus on more core subject.. And the test held quite frequent moreover the test difficulty is not that great.

Internships Opportunities

2

I am a second year student perfume BTech from CNC branch and in 1st year we have and get any internship but in second year we have told that we will get internship from HCL and the amount that we had paid was 20000 but till date we have in received any updates from their side so I have no idea what is going to held and also there is no stipend giving internship from the college side

Placement Experience

3

Placements are not that good After completion of 3rd year basically 6 th semester students become eligible for campus placements Accenture, global logic, infosis, flipkart and many other companies 70% students are getting placed I wanted to do masters in same with some iit after completing the degree

There is only one cultural fest during the whole year. There are soo many clubs in which students can do great like robotics club etc

Campus Life

4

The college organizers and annual cultural fest name abhivyakti every every April which includes events like dance music drama and fashion show it's a platform for students to showcase their talent the technical fest the college also holds technical fest such as coding competitions robotics contest and workshops that are aimed at enhancing students technical skill there are technical clubs also clubs for coding robotics and innovation cultural clubs for music dance and drama antivasist literacy club for those interested is in writing debating and public speaking entrepreneurship club for students in trusted in entrepreneurship and startup culture and environment and mental and social initiatives clubs that forces on workshop social work environmental awareness and cultural community development

Admission

I have applied for knit sultanpur IET Galgotias college of engineering ABES ghaziabad HBTU kanpur I got selected in galgotias and abes But due to some financial problems.. And the distance.. I was not able to join that SRMCEM is near my house so i opt for that The admission process can be by counceling and by management quota Jee mains is must for counceling 60 percentile is cutoff

Faculty

3

Faculty to student ratio is okay Some faculty members are really strict but some are not Ajay Prakash sir was teaching ecology and environment last year to us.. And he is soo good to students No such faculty was there whom i didn't like till date There are lots of exams.. Like u have to give a quiz every Tuesday and Saturday.. There are 3 or some times 4 quizs are there per subject.. Which contain 30 marks And 4 surprise quiz of 5 marks per subject And 1 pre end of 100 marks And practical of 50 marks. Mostly students do not fail any of there test.. Because whatever teachers teaches is relevant to the cousre curriculum

Night Life

2

Night life is like okay okay for students basically girls are not allowed to go out of their hostels after 6 and boys after 8 these hostels are inside the college so they are not permitted to go and leave their hostels at the time given .there is a gym in the college there are 3 library in the college and there are two canteens inside the college. There are few malls around the college and other than that few parks are around the college the night life is okay okay the area is not much safer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since curriculum was given by AKTU itself, colleges only has the power to choose elective subjects- Few subjects were my fav and helped me alot in lot's of different scenerios - like EDC,Network Theory and ofc VLSI Design was my fav. For ECE students - university shd mandate Satellite communication and VLSI Technology a compulsory as it's a kind of core subjects and in every PSU as well as govt exams , questions from this subject always been asked by authorities. More faculties staff's are required.

Placement Experience:

Taking about campous placement of my college so this is not so good like it is almost negligibe . If you want job then you have to fimd it by yourself and you have to apply by yourself to company. sometimes few prof. will help you to apply for some companies but most of the times you have to do it by yourself only. As in other colleges you will be elegible for internships from 2nd year is also the same thing you can start your internship when ever you get it. Almost no company visit here for placement but some time few companies come here for ME and Civil deparment students .the placement percentage is approx 35 to 40 percent. My plans after getting degre is to go for higher studies.
