Dislikes
- the size of the collage , the placement , and the forced and longer classes
- no much extra curicullar activities and only 3 events in the whole year no feast and the most problematic is the weekly exams , every saturday there is a compulsary exam which all must attend
- the collage is hindi based teaching and along with that no cultural program too much academically forced no time for self improvements and the coding culture not too good , if you want a collage with a proper fests and events then this is not good
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculam is not so good , its old traditional sylalbus , there is nothing new in the curriculam , it old fashioned and not so helpfull , i suggest you start learning on your own.it dosent really makes you much prepared for industry. The whole curriculam is waste and nedd a complete replacement .
Internships Opportunities
lloyd college offers a variety of internship opportunites through its dedicated internship and placement cell. students can paticipate in internship starting from thier first semester , with options for both online and offline experiences, includeing placements in law firms and judicial internship. But there is no internship for btech students .
Placement Experience
You are eligible for placements from your third year, ther are many comapanies visited out of them the most popular is the tech manindra and the sales force , the frequency of the placement is low and not so good, the highest pakage is arounf 15lakhs and the average goes from 5 lakhs to 3 lakhs . the percentage of student who got placed is low around 20%. My plans after getting the degree is to persue the masters from a foreign university mostly university of north southern wells australia.
Fees and Financial Aid
yearly fees is around 1.52 lakhs per annum for all CSE and IT branches and 1.35 for other branches, this includes all fees and there are scholarships around 30k for 90+ in boards or jee in percentage (P,C,M), and if getting admission by UPTAC councelling fee's goes down to 50k a year and no extra other costs . Campus Life
no much clubs some of the clubs is the tech club and the dance and poetry club and the one small club for sports, the library is limited they just show big , the digital library dosent event work and the technological usage from the classes is not used mostly blackboard is prefered (white board) , no much sprorts event mostly one event one a year and events once every 4 year.
Admission
i chose lloyd college in greater noida over other institute due to its competitive fees, and its connections to the companies in it IT industries and especially in the EV industries and the collage have been doing really well in the research and development in the electronics departmants, along whith that the collage is near the vicinity of the my hostels, along with that the crowd in the classes in less than the other collages and then there is not much extra distracting events which leads me to focus on the studies and then its near many visiting places and market which turns to be very convinient to travel from the collage. No i wasnt rejected from any collage where i applied i choose lloyd because of its connections with the law and mangements sector the law brach comes in the top law collages in india including the managements branch. The addmission process is very easy there is two way's direct entry simply call to the collage councellor and then tell your branch and your marks in the boards else apply online via the website by booking the session, the admission is very easy and convinient. there is not much cutoff but prefer to have the 70% in the boards to get your desired branch.
Faculty
faculty to student ratio is around 1:70 on average and the faculty and student relations mostly depends upon the the performance and the behaviour of the students and there is no biasness observed , the faculty are really good and well educated and most of them are or have done thier doctarate on their respected feild and have the industry lead knowladge , but the once only who are older faculties not the new ones, some of the faciulties do target students but overall its a good experience. On my experince the best faculty over which i came across is Mr. Pramod sir faculty electrical engineering he is a master in his feild and its like if i attend his lecture i remeber all the concepts its like it get inbuit on your mind he is good in his stuff and also explains every topic very nicely. cant disclose the name of the faulties which i dont like but the new faculty in the physics branch she is assistant professor in physics and she is not good in her stuff she teches by reading straight by the book and also if the student asks a doubts she says learn and tell me tommorow because even i dont know you can teach the whole class and the doubt remains as doubt for ever. there are a lot of exams every saturday there is one weekly exam every saturday and which makes your schedule very hecktic and then there is a sessional exam every 2 week and then Pre university exam once each sem mostly, dificulty is overall medium and hard , can be easy based upon how and what all you have learned.
Night Life
no nightlife, no hotel for boys , there is only girls hostel in the collage. no much hangout places have togo out of greater noida to visit , only place to visit is around vennis mall and some parks nearby.
