Course Curriculum Overview

4

The drone lab and language based labs are the key reason that separates this college from other colleges. The professors are industry specialist and they help students to meet the real world scenario. Not only this the coding club of our college named "Hexaclan" conducts different hackathon based on industry level employee selection process and they also help beginners through one-on-one guidance. They conduct a seperate batch for DSA where they explain concepts of DSA with industry level projects. The only drawback of the curriculum is that it is very old and sometimes you will be learning things that doesn't have any value in the real world. Exams assignment and hackathons and events will keep you engaged throughout your course and your will barely get chance to follow your habits or passions

Internships Opportunities

3

For intership you have to keep your eyes on. College will provide you intership opportunities in the local giants mostly unpaid but the paid ones are grabbed by only those who have good knowledge in their skills. From 6th semester you will start getting internship opportunities most of them are based on your projects made in the second year. Generally you will get the role of junior web developer in the company. But with your skillset you can grab more opportunities by searching online ....

Placement Experience

4

You will start getting offer letters from 7th semester onwards and the placement drive occurs in the 8th semester. This college is in growing phase every year the placement statistics are getter better. Last year around 80%+ batch of CSE was placed with an average package of 4-6 LPA and the highest placement was 16lakhs as SDE in HP. This year google visited our campus and selected two students with an offer letter of 34 LPA as SDE and 37 LPA as AI Engineer. Currently the average package is the same of last year. But the placement percentage has increased from 80% to 90%. Companies like HP TCS Accenture Sharekhan Wipro and local giants like VDPL along with mass recruiters visited our campus this year. Even if any student is unable to get any placement offer then also this place has multiple companies and their offices in the Delhi NCR region which gives you a vast option for job opportunities. In our college startups are promoted and they get funding from different investors. Ideathons help them to get the fame and investment for their startups. My long term goal is to get placed in the highest package offering companies in our college.

Fees and Financial Aid

For Btech in computer science with any specialization the course fees for 4 years is 5 lakh 86 thousand. For first year you have to pay 1lakh 51 thousand and for rest 3 years you will be paying 1lakh 43 thousand. For JEE mains good percentile holder they offer 30-40% rebate on the course fees and for CBSE if you overall percentage in all five subjects of PCM is 1.75%+ then 10% tution fees will be reduced. 2.85%+ then 20% tution fees will be reduced. 3.90%+ then 25% tution fees will be reduced. 4.95%+ then 30% tution fees will be reduced. And to continue this scholarship offer for four year you have to score more than 8 CGPA in first year. They provide drone electrical electronics pps chemistry and physics lab in first year. From second year onwards they have seperate labs for each coding language and specialization and different branches.

Campus Life

5

This college doesn't look like colleges of Karan Johar movies where you will be living a great life. Here you will be busy in academics and will get very less chances of enjoying events. However every year freshers party orientation ceremony and a college annual event named "ANTRAL" is held in month of November-December where famous singers celebrities artists and comedians visits our campus. Darshan Rawal Anubhav Singh Bassi Nizam Brothers were the chief attention of ANTRAL last year. Lacking in events but excelling in library , here you will get access to 1500+ books and a digital library where you can access lakhs of books and resources. In library there are separate zones for study and group project discussion!! For every student it is must to participate in any of the club because it carries 25 internal marks each year. Every year you will get chance to take part in your favourite club and from second year you can apply for club cordinator position and then you will be promoted based on your activity level. Not only this every year a sports week is conducted for sports enthusiasts. You will get a life you will never forget here if you are a member of club. The seniors club members clip president everyone is very friendly and specially the infrastructure provided for every even is top notch

Admission

I have applied for NIET but I got rejected because I applied to late for the course. Not only this I also applied to colleges like RIET in Rajasthan Roorkee Institute of engineering and technology in Uttrakhand and IILM University and I got admission letter from all of the above said college but after comparing these colleges with Lloyd Institute of engineering and technology I decided to take admission here. This college lacks in terms of events but the coding culture hackathon and student-faculty relationship plus the placement rate of 95%+ attracted me. Specially the DSA of this college is best in town as they explain everything with projects and professors who are currently working in industry are your professor. The admission process is quite simple and lengthy at the same time. If you are willing to take admission then you have to qualify your class 12th exams with PCM and minimum of 65% is required for admission and must qualify JEE Mains with atleast 50 percentile. For direct admission they just check all the documents and check for seat availability and then they will give you admission form and you have to pay them a token amount and your seat is confirmed. For admission through councelling the process is lengthy because each and every stage is governed by UPTAC where you have to apply first and then you have to opt for this college as priority so that you can maximize your chances.

Faculty

The best thing about this college is the professors because they literally treat you like their own children. The director dean hods even the subject professor and lab assistants are very helpful. You get a option to solve your doubts because they have 2-3 professors for each subject. In my first year my HOD was Mr.Vijay Kumar Yadav my maths professor. He's strict when it comes to attendance discipline and academic but at the same time he is very helpful and he helped me a lot when I got an accident and I was left behind in my studies. He not only offered me academic help but also offered me financial help. Now coming to exams you will have to give a lot of papers lab and viva. Every week on Saturdays they conduct a weekly test for tracing short term progress of the students and then they conduct two sessional exams and based on first sessional paper they form special group for low scoring students where they help them to clear their semester with no back and then they conduct Pre University Exams and practicals.Overall this pattern of exams might be hectic for students but this help them in long term.

Night Life

5

For boys there is no hostel by college but for girls they have hostel in college. After a hectic day of 8 lectures in the evening you can enjoy the sports ground and the canteen area. The cool breeze of evening and the sunset specially heals every wounds. For me my favourite spot is the sports ground where I chill after the hectic day. But coming to hostel life you will be suggested a hostel by college which will be the worst dicision of your life if you opt the hostel because of the food the gym and the cleanliness of the hostel is a mess... But except this you will live a life whose stories you will share to your children's. Like a corporate slave office timings our college starts from 8:00 am to 4:45pm in the evening where you will get 45 mins of lunch break. But the canteen and Guddu bhaiya will be your stress buster the canteen food tastes best when it is served by Guddu bhaiya.. His jokes will burst you into laughter and your stress will be blown away when you take a sip of chai

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.
