- One of my senior got placed in Couch Base for 34LPA CTC another got placed in Unilever for 42LPA but this was for CSE and related branches while few of my seniors got decent package from mechanical branch too 8-12L in companies like Mercedes a Euler ~ Anonymous, B.Tech
- FFCS. A study who is facing difficulty to study more, can take less number of credits and it will reduce the burden of the students. And the student can also Complete the entire course in 4 years instead of 5years by taking maximum no of credits. ~ Supriya R Patil, B.Sc + M.Sc
- Campus Life in Vit is simply magnificent.All types of facilities are provided inside the campus including sport complex and restaurants.The girls to boys ratio in Mechanical engineering is surprisinly high of about 1:7. ~ Mithilesh Angal, B.Tech

- I don’t like how the student and faculty ratio is 60-40 ~ Praveen Kumar, BCA

There are more compulsory thing about payment. When regarding about hostel they find us even though, we aren't related to it. The fine randomly. And some people don't like food inside the college. Even though they are asked to change mess but not allowed to cancel the mess thing. Such that they can save money and food.

It's good about their placement activity however they used strictly about their rules. If we failed to attend any company we will be blacklisted for a month. So we cannot attend any company for a month.

Remarks:
There are only positive remarks on my college because this college is a wonderful place to study and pursue education. All the courses offered in the college are good and are worth studying. The placements are also good.

Admission:
I wrote the VITMEE exam as I am taking admission for MTech and I got a rank of 1100, I should attend the counselling in Vellore campus I couldn't because of some issues then administrative people from Chennai called me and I got the seat in category 1.

Placements are very good compared to any university so its the best place you can join but you need to have good commitment if you fail in one subject you need to pay 6000 and you need to go classes from first and need to pass so if you are thinking to join you need to have good knowledge

Platform VIT provides is great. VIT has all those resources ( tools, software, boards) which a student needs to grow, the student can explore in any area being there given student is also hardworking. and the very important thing is placement record is also very good

VIT has its own entrance exam and I wrote that exam, I got the ranking of 763(approx) I don't remember but I had got somewhere near that, I was interested in mechatronics so I took up mechatronics since this was a field which was unique and the one which had the future scope, I was also much more interested in MEMS. There was no interview process to get admitted to VIT.
