Mnk's review about VIT

There are more compulsory thing about payment. When regarding about hostel they find us even though, we aren't related to it. The fine randomly. And some people don't like food inside the college. Even though they are asked to change mess but not allowed to cancel the mess thing. Such that they can save money and food.

It is a practical oriented one. Learning is fun here. The curriculum is good and innovative. But the management always strives for useless means by changing the means of mode of exam every 6 months. Sometimes conduct open book exams by allowing printed books and sometimes without printed but only written books.

Placements are good. I don't know about the internship. I heard that our college has an abroad internship program which is only for 20 to 40 students only. When it is about stipend it depends from person to person.

There are 2 events. they are Rivera and gravitas. Rivera is a cultural fest and Gravitas is a technical fest. Rivera is said to be the best event that is to be held. It's a little expensive for the stadium tickets overall it's good.

The fee structure is based on the merit list. Overall it is moderate. But for the food and other services should be compulsory opted even though food isn't good. In terms, of food and hostel, it's expensive. At least compulsory messes should be canceled.

A merit scholarship is the only thing I know. If we get top 10 on basis of merit we will get the amount of 1k for free. If in 1st place its 10k,2nd place 5k 3rd place 3k and the rest 1k. The other one is some star program which I don't know much about.

Labs- they are the course related one. To use labs for noncourse related is prohibited. Sports- If we get free time there is no restriction to play sports. Extracurricular activities- these are done by many people by joining college clubs and other chapters.

I would rate 5 out of 10. Because compulsory payments items are more even though we won't avail them. About the hostels, the bathroom facilities are up to remark. When the college bathrooms are good but the hostels are poor.

Yes, they are very much helpful. You can see a ragging free campus. Even though seniors make fun of you. Eventually, they become friends and brothers. They help us a lot. They are mostly like brothers to us.

I applied for an M.tech integrated course in Vit. It was a little lengthy process. We have to apply for admission and upload our 10,+2 marks. Then they will send a message about shortlisted people's details. In the meantime, we have sent the duplicates of the grades and other affidavit forms that are required and prescribed the VIT via normal post.

They are the best. Most of the faculty either have a Ph.D. or any other Higher certification which could be helpful for teaching students in a practical way. They teach according to the speed of the student to grasp.
