- One of my senior got placed in Couch Base for 34LPA CTC another got placed in Unilever for 42LPA but this was for CSE and related branches while few of my seniors got decent package from mechanical branch too 8-12L in companies like Mercedes a Euler ~ Anonymous, B.Tech
- FFCS. A study who is facing difficulty to study more, can take less number of credits and it will reduce the burden of the students. And the student can also Complete the entire course in 4 years instead of 5years by taking maximum no of credits. ~ Supriya R Patil, B.Sc + M.Sc
- Campus Life in Vit is simply magnificent.All types of facilities are provided inside the campus including sport complex and restaurants.The girls to boys ratio in Mechanical engineering is surprisinly high of about 1:7. ~ Mithilesh Angal, B.Tech
Dislikes
- I don’t like how the student and faculty ratio is 60-40 ~ Praveen Kumar, BCA
- Lot of exams yearly 3 exams in a semester 2-3 quiz and 1-2 DA ~ Kartik Navnath Narare, B.Tech

Placement Experience:
The pre final year students are eligible to apply for placements. Many top companies like BMW, Valeo, TVS, Tata etc have came to.campus for placements. As of now 1357 companies visited vit for placements (According to VIT's campus interaction website). The highest package given here is 16 MPA and the average package given is 5 LPA. 80-90% Of the student's gets placed. My plans will be kept within myself.

Course Curriculum Overview:
As personally, I wanted to go into the software field I felt this course helps me. There are all types of faculties (knowledge and without). Only one suggestion from my side is not to depend only on faculty. You have to spend at least 1 or 1 1/2 hours after the college hours to get knowledge. Mostly you will find PhD faculties and their teaching method is not also fine according to me. I would suggest they go with books rather than slides. for every 6 months, we have term exams. Few papers are really hard.

For integrated course after the 4th year, our statements will begin. There will be around 1000's of companies will visit each and every year. Probably offering 8000 plus offers. The highest package around this year is 39 LPA. There will no criteria by the campus for eligibility for placements. Based on companies it will vary.

After doing my graduation in electrical branch from skit Jaipur, i really wanted to study in some prestigious colleges like that so i decided to do MTech in vellore, institute, i want to explore my branch more. So i give that particular exam and take admission here.
