- Faculty is very good and teaches the best everyone are experts made a good connection with students.
- Yes, they provide scholarships for outstanding students in their studies.

- All the teachers are well qualified but the principal of the college is not good in behaviour and he will not help anyone in placements.
- Hostel was worst part of the institute the food is bad
- The boys hostels are bad. they rooms are small and the furniture they provide are broken.

- The faculty members are quite good , with most of them a PHD degree . Most them are very supportive and engaging .
- Campus life many clubs present in the college . There are many cultural fests are Aarush and Milan.
Dislikes
- Placement opportunities for ECE and core departments are quite low , almost all placements are in the IT field .
- Administrative processes were slow and often require frequent follow ups due to a due student population.
- Hostel food is average with limited options and the rooms are not cleaned properly .
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose this program because it offered a good mix of core electronics and trending technologies like AI and embedded systems.
Some parts of the syllabus like Electromagnetic Theory and Control systems, are outdated. There's a need of more hands-on training with tools like MATLAB, Python and HDL,
Exams followed a standard format of 60% internal, which is computed on the basis of Class tests, assignments and projects and the rest 40% is computed by the final end sem scores.

- College is best when it comes to architecture
- Many opportunities are provided if you know how to use it well
- It has great international connections worldwide
Dislikes
- Faculties can be annoying and may be bit harsh
- Bad whether in chennai,doesn’t affect college as there are a lot of trees
- Fees is too much sometimes,and we have to pay for programs
Course Curriculum Overview:
Course curriculum mostly includes 1st year- basics ,2nd year (core),3rdyear( specialised),4th year(project) .It has a good curriculum but is very tiring sometimes due to faculties behaviour and college rules

- I like the studying and the faculty's way of teaching and pass
- You could literally pass in the internals if you study well in Class CTs
- The environment is so good full greenary with you could make friends from different states
Dislikes
- I would say there is nothing but if you enjoy too much its bad for you
- If you didn't study well the the faculty won't give you marks
- Sometimes the faculty fail you if you done any malpractices
Placement Experience:
Form 7th semester students are getting placed in different top companies
Therefore totally 90 percentage of placement is done in this colledge if you scored your SGPA high to place in the top companies

- The campus is filled with greenary and little water bodies
- So many clubs to choose from and engage with
- Hostel mess food is better then most mess in the country
Dislikes
- Hostel infrastructure is worst except for few according to the cost of hostels
- Cirriculum is very old fashioned / old skool
- Nearest railway junction is 20kms far except for the local rail station is just oppsite the campus main gate
Placement Experience:
From 3rd year students become eligible for the campus placements probably. Not completely sure of the placements since I am only in 1st year. I thing most of the students gets placed but with very low ctc the later. After getting the degree either with go for the placements on and off campus or will go for pursuing MBA abroad.

- Infrastructure and the design of building and classrooms.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course which we studied helped us to gain knowledge. There are some specific course but the other courses taught us about and above the book learning. They help us to gain intellectual knowledge and lesson.

- One of the most modernized campuses as college buildings to hostel blocks all are amazing here.
- My engagement personally to university life is quite well as I am a member of four societies and bide my time with them.
- Without any debate it has to be the finest crowd among colleges as all are studios and also from well to do house holds.
Dislikes
- I think it would be the area as all major hubs of Chennai are far off from our campus.
Placement Experience:
Highest package so far I feel is of 60LPA that one of the seniors got it in 2024. Average placements are around 8 or 10 LPA as 85% students get placements through campus and nobody is underpaid here is all I can say.

- One of the largest campuses after IIT Madras in Chennai.
- We have facilities similar or rather better than that of IIT Madras.
- Most of our faculties are from IIT Madras and even more so top colleges.
Dislikes
- Well, somehow commuting as metro station is also a little far and college buses also run on their own time.

Placements are amazing as getting 10,20, or even 50 lakhs from our college is like no big deal. Last year two CSE students got package worth 55 and 60 lakhs at Microsoft and Amazon respective. From Indian to Global tech companies everyone believes in our college students.

- I love SRMIST for the quality students they intake.
- Now because students are good, the societies of the college automatically becomes that great.
- Course is tough as from AI to Robotics, we are taught all.
Dislikes
- Certainly exams timing as our even semester concludes in June end or sometimes even July.

Placement Experience:
Placements at SRM is so amazing that one can't just hide from them. Our placements cell like we are about to close on 4th semester and have already told us to be ready for training program from next semester. TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and HCL Technologies all the big Indian IT companies take students in basket from here.

- Like maintaince is good ,Hostel food is good expect one or two days
- For Social interactions there are many clubs for that good events like arush for freshers milan two events in a year
- The teachers explain very good and clear your concepts as well when you go to their cabin for some doubts
Dislikes
- Hostel living quality like giving 1 lakh and above getting no good quality of living to live in AC hostel we need to pay around 2 lakhs and above for boys hostel
- 2 days hostel food is so bad you cant even eat for boys hsotel
- All events like arush and milan are paid
Placement Experience:
- from the 4th year or 3rd year after getting good internship
- i am in second year so no compnaies as of now but i went for workshops in bharat biotech
-Highest in my branch like 7 Lpa and minimum 3 Lpa
- 80 percent getting placements rest for masters
- sit for placements to get good placemnte between 5-7 lakhs

- Aesthetics of the college campus. There are green trees all over the campus and the buildings are painted well.
- The availability of basic stationary and groceries in and around the campus. There are multiple stationary shops inside the campus and almost all daily groceries are available in shops and small supermarkets near the campus.
- College timings aren't too hectic or exhausting. You have alternating days with morning or afternoon classes and labs only once a week from second year onwards.
Dislikes
- Hygiene is really neglected both in and outside the campus. The roads and lobbies of university buildings are clean but small alleys and areas with less footfall are highly neglected and often stink.
- Teachers aren't very co-operative in terms of doubts, extra curricular help and leniency in marks. They rarely care much if someone is learning in class or not.
- The language barrier is too high here as in majority of the shops the shopkeepers only know Tamil and their English is too broken for normal people in a hurry to understand.
Placement Experience:
Placements are above average and are on par with the other private colleges. The median placement is around 7-9 LPA and the average placement is around 14 LPA. The highest package ever was a little above 1 CRPA about two three years ago from EEE department. The placement of EEE and ECE is a little bit above CS.
