Course Curriculum Overview
This question to me is a mystery if 100 people want to become an engineer 80 of them want to do CSE. This is a fact and I don't mind being in a rat race as this is where most jobs are in future. So, to secure my future I have chosen this job.
Internships Opportunities
Honeywell Solutions is where 2nd year students have been offered internships at. 10 of our friends applied and luckily 6 of us have got it. So it's good to be doing internships in the same field and a company that will teach us a lot.
Placement Experience
Highest package so far I feel is of 60LPA that one of the seniors got it in 2024. Average placements are around 8 or 10 LPA as 85% students get placements through campus and nobody is underpaid here is all I can say.
Fees and Financial Aid
SRMIST is arguably or without a debate one of the best private college for doing engineering. CSE fees is little higher than that of other branches as our labs and other facilities are much better than the others. So, I am happy with the fees as it's 260k a year and it's not too high considering the level of education and facilities that are provided.
Campus Life
Our campus is so beautiful that I wish I could here. From roads to beautiful auditoriums and especially our amphi theatre it is like mouth watering. Also, our sports facilities are top notch as we have best outdoor facilities and from yoga rooms to dance rooms we have it all. Milan our annual social fest needs a special mention as it is one of the best that one can fit in.
Admission
I applied at BITS, and IITs but was rejected from both and beyond that for me it was always SRM University. So I gave SRM University entrance as well and luckily it paid off here as here my scores were among the best and therefore I got the branch of my choice.
Faculty
Superlative as I can't think of term lesser than that. Almost all our faculties are same as quality is what our university believes in and they have provided us the most qualified and able faculties to be taught from.
Night Life
Hangout places is Anna mall and Airport Road as both the places are not that far and best part there are many cafes and even street food vendors. Our oversized university though has taken care of most things but still hangout after college hours is must for unwind ourselves.
