Lpu is good in very aspects but its bad in some aspects as well.

Likes

Management is really good.For any problem you can file an RMS and they eill respont to it 48hours.
The infrastucture is good as well.the campus has 650 acres under it with constant maintance
Most of the teachers are of friendly nature.

Dislikes

It is too strict for a college student,to go out of campus you need to apply for a leave and wait to get it approved.
Their is a huge drainage problem in campus,whenever it rains its too hectic to move around.
The roll is way too more than its compatibility.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The teachers teachs most of the courses practically.And they are open for any kind of doubts in there working houra. The curriculum prepares us really well for the real world application,i would personally give it a ten in this aspect.

LOVELY PROFESSIONAL UNIVERSITY REVIEW - B.TECH IT

the campus is very big and beautiful and alot of facilities are provided
the campus is full of grenery everywhere and the infrastructure is also very nice
the management is very robust and does its job very well.

Dislikes

the strictness is on the upper level especially with attendance.
any indiscipline act can make them revoke your scholarship
the intake is very high for cse students

Placement Experience:

Placements are average. Students who study well get placed but many students who dont, often don't get placed till then end of their fourth year or get placed in sales jobs or some other job like that.

Placement Experience:

here in LPU, in my case, which is MCA Master of computer application, the placement starts at the third and intern. It also offers internship at at the end of the second semester. MCA course is only Of four semesters that is two year program and in four year program that is in BTech. The placement starts in the last year and the MCA students and the BTech CSE students sit together in the placements as they all are from IT fields and the companies visiting for both are, mostly same, so we sat together in the placements

Real life review for lpu.

Likes

Good faculty, faculty is very hard working and helping nature.
The diversity of the students provide us many tupe of knowledge.
Strict rules ,good campus,greenery everywhere.

Dislikes

9 to 5 class approximately everyday,i feel very tired and not interesting classes.
So many students in the campus not able to provide creativity work to the students.
No trip planning for students, boring classes no creative clases .

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester students are eligible for college placement.there are many companies arrives in the campus for placement and approximately 90% people are placed as per the previous year data but they are placed in any company and for any work it doesn't matter it is related with it's course or not.the highest package is 12 lakh and the average package is 300000 per year.i would like to plan a job in campus.

Review of Lovely Professional University

Likes

The infrastructure of this univeesity was very big and beautiful.
Behavior of peoples in LPU is very polite and good because all come from good family.
Strict action again illegal activities And they have rule of indicipline case.

Dislikes

They take admission more than 10k students per year in CSE
Ratio of girls is less than boys approc 20-80
Diwali vacation is only for 1 day, they have to increase diwali holidays

Placement Experience:

Placements is completely depend upon your codding skills and aptitude, because mainly comapanis are looking for well experienced coder, you should maintain 7+ cgpa for good package and the average package is 8-10 lakh and maximum package is around 64 lakh.

The campus is very huge in size approx 600 acres
Many number of courses are available in this college

Dislikes

The college is too much over crowded of nearly 35000 people
Non veg is strictly prohibited in this college
Scholarship ship will be cancelled if we found in doing an inappropriate activity

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for compus placements at the 6th semester onwards. Many higher companies often visited this collage like Amazon ,Google,zoom and etc.. Highest package of this college is 3 crores PA And the average salary Is 5-6 LPA.

1st year student review on LPU

Everything here is controlled by the college. The college manages to maintain order throughout tue college despite having thousands of students studying here.
The campus is absolutely huge and stunning. It is always well maintained with greenery and 24/7 security to ensure the safety of the students at all hours.
The facilities available at LPU is very commendable. They have really updated Mac labs and many more for students who wish to use those.

Dislikes

The only thing I dislike about LPU is the number of students they take in. There are literally more than a thousand student studying for CSE each year which makes the competition absolutely intense.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and thought out. Obviously the first year of engineering has all the domains of engineering so we have to get past the first year with everything we have. The 2nd year onwards we will start studying the subjects focused on our course. They teach us in a way that gets us ready for practical skills as well. In a semester, we have mid term exams, end term exams as well as 3 continuous assessment tests to test our knowledge and understanding ability for the subject.

Lpu is really good college, with great campus and huge crowd, this college provides a variety of courses and the faculty is very nice. I really like the environment of the college and the people are very helping, the ratio of boys and girls are equal

Dislikes

Things I don't like about lpu is their technical interface as lots of technical glitches happen during submitting assignment and project for which students have to face problem. Other than this I like everything about lpu.

Placement Experience:

Lpu provides internship for 3rd and 4th year students , and placement upto 24lakh per annum. Top companies of India and also outside India visits for placements. Students can get minimum 6lakhs per annum and maximum 24lakhs per annum by working with these top companies

I completed BTech CSE from LPU back in 2016. You might say that LPU has changed since then, but I am still in touch with my juniors and here is my experience:

Placements: More than 550+ MNCs and startups visit the LPU campus for placement. In recent news, Yasir M., student of LPU, grabbed an offer of INR 3 crore in Germany. The highest CTC offered for the engineering programs at LPU is INR 42 LPA.
Scholarships: People might think LPU is pricey since it is a private colleges, but LPU provides scholarships to bright students with good academic records, good track record in sports, or extracurricular activities. LPU also helps students in the education loan facility.
Research: In terms of research, Stanford University has ranked almost 13 LPU faculty members amongst the top 2% of scientists in the world.
Faculty: The faculty members are from top institutes like IITs, NITs, IIMs, and top-ranked universities globally.

I am a BTech Mechanical graduate from LPU. Here is an honest review on the placement scenario at LPU (in engineering)-

The placement scenario is poor for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. Few companies visit these departments for placements, and hire a maximum of 5-10 students in total. But if someone knows basic coding, they can sit for IT placements.

Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, etc. visit the CSE/IT departments for mass hiring. Very few core companies visit the ECE department for recruitments, so the students rely on IT companies. A mere 40/50 out of 1000 ECE students get hired by an Electronics company from the campus. The IT companies mass hire students at a CTC of around 3.5 LPA.

This is the engineering placement scenario at LPU.

Being a graduate from LPU, I found the campus life quite joyful as everyone in the university is supportive. I liked the following things about the University:

Students get success in placements based on their learning and skills provided by the University. The University trains the students to grab high-quality job offers.
LPU receives numerous companies for placements, although only a fraction of students secure high-paying offers, partly due to the large student population.
LPU's campus can accommodate its many students, with classes divided into manageable sizes for effective teaching.

LPU maintains a strict anti-ragging policy and provides a secure environment with extensive CCTV surveillance.
