Likes

Infrastructure is really good and the facilities and lab are up to the mark you expect
Social life is the best aspect of this university.. whether you are an introvert or an extrovert.you have ample opportunities to socialize
Facilities are good,not the best but they try really hard to help you

Dislikes

Fees is a bit on the higher side and I feel like it was not worth it
Cost of living also is a bit high but it depends on person to person
Hostel and Messi food are the worst,you need to spend atleast 1.4 lakh per year on food and hostel to live comfortably in campus

Our college is a bit on the non orthodox side of curriculum as it regularly strives to include up to date curriculum designed by industry experts as well as trying to include skills or jobs which helps us get job like programming skills and soft skills and analytical skills and it also encourages us to take nptel courses

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 280000 per year

Placement Experience

From 7th sem for chemE and 6th sem for Computer science department Companies are mostly local and 100% of our students from our department who registered for placements got jobs Highest was 9 lpa and average is 3-4 lpa My plan is to go for higher studies

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid around 90000 per sem with scholarship..my fee was 120000 but now they increased the price after naac a++ rating..now the sem fee is 1.4 lakh per sem ... students can also avail scholarship.it also charges extra 4000 for exam fee

Campus Life

There are many exhibitions and industrial visits happening in our department both national and international like Indian Science Congress.,etc. Our central library has access to tens and thousands of journals and books Our classroom have centralized ac system and facilities are top notch Extra curricular activities are best..most of the guys who won Olympics for India are lpu alumnis like Neeraj Chopra Many clubs are available for students to join

Admission

I applied to several other colleges in both India and abroad like KC TECH Chennai etc but my first confirmation was from LPU.i didn't get any rejection but I joined lpu because I wanted to experience another culture.you just need to take lpu nest to get admission which also serves as a criteria to get scholarship

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio in our department is good considering the strength is really low,it is also an advantage to us since the faculties are able to give us more attention on both academic side and also related to giving us career advice

LPU Jalandhar is a nest!

Placement Experience:

Over a crore package too have been inked form LPU, CSE and that itself is more than enough to justify my call to Study here. Highest package was of 1.03 crores and average still stands at 8 lakhs around. The big thing is nearly 2500 students in CSE and still all are finding a shot to try for placements.

LPU has no errors!

Placement Experience:

Mid cap to large cap, every company that can afford our students services are invited to our university for hiring students. Thus far nearly 500 organizations have been invited to our university and a good bit of placements percentage is also there. No students of our university recruited have come under fire and therefore the companies which have laid faith in LPU students have kept hiring year after year.

Like at IET

Course Curriculum Overview:

I went for CSe bcz it has best career scope. The curriculum is comprehensive but a bit heavy. It touches almost all topics but didn't go deep into latest tech like AI or Cloud computing, which was a drawback. Improvements? Definitely the teaching style. Some profs are good but many rush through the syllabus to finish it. They should include more project based learning instead of just theory exams. Exams are manageable. We have typical sem system. Timing is predictable but sometimes the schedule is very tight with no gaps between papers. Difficulty wise its okay, most students study a week before exams and manage to clear them.

As I mentioned this college is new and they have no past data to show about their placement but they have good tie up with some of the giants of industry including IBM and when their SME comes to provide lectures ut really boosts your energy and motivation. But still there can't be any assurance of placement as of now untill our batch get placed successfully

My Journey and experience at my College

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate and usually starts from the 7th Semester . A few Service based Companies visit with average packages of 3-4 Lpa . Around 40 - 50 % students get placed. I plan to upskill and pursue higher studies or better job opportunities

LPU is indeed a professional university!

Placement Experience:

Around 600 recruiters so far has hired students from LPU. Not just domestic but even international names have hired students from LPU. So, I don't think one even has to look beyond LPU for that matter. I am happy that students from here have got the opportunity to work in their dream companies and soon I will be giving interviews as I am also in my final year now.

Placement Experience:

from 6 semester only students are getting placed in most companies like tcs,visa.TCS every year they make 300-400 offers and famous companies like visa do in less count like 10-50 and the average package is 6 LPA and the highest package is 30-40 LPA.60-70% of students are getting placed every year.my plan is to earn a job after the degree and grow there

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

On campus Placements are average here. The highest package goes to 19 lakhs and Average package is 3-4 lakhs per annum. However we can not expect any MNC to visit this campus but the companies for freshers and to gain experience visit the campus.

Facts About LPU

i didn't applied to any other college but my friends wrote the other entrance exams like srm and after getting the result and scholarship we campared the fee structure and facilities providing by the universities we thought that my university is better than those in every aspect. coming to the admission process you have to write an college entrance exam and you will get scholarship based on those marks and the eligibilty is 60% in 10th and 12th board to write that entrance exam....Read More
